Useless they offer the most expensive delivery service and cant even be bothered to deliver. Make up excuses so they dont have to carry it up stairs. Avoid at all costs

I've bought some lovely furniture here and some great deals on electricals, most of it is an absolute bargain. There's a wide range and new items each week, frequent visits pay off if you're looking for a certain type of item. The delivery charge is reasonable if you're buying a large piece of furniture, possibly free if you have have furniture to donate.

Only gave I one star because it wouldn't accept less. Drivers looked over an antique dresser and writing bureau but because they are dark real wood they turned their noses up and said no good. Do yourself a favour and go to a proper charity that would appreciate your items. I am a long term contributer to bhf but anymore

Fab store to get good quality furniture items,a mixture of classic antique pieces and new items (think DFS/Oak Furniture Land). Gary who works there is lovely and helpful. Great prices considering the high quality of some of the pieces. Would be a good idea for the store to create a Facebook page/comms page to advertise some of your ‘star buys’ to pull in potential customers, or utilise Facebook Marketplace/eBay more.

Surprised anyone donates to them.Drivers came round to look over furniture, started to take suite out then decided the sofa had an odd support knob underneath so it was not any good for them. The sofa was a g plan suite and the knob was quite stable and not visible but no good to them. They then started to take out a dining table, but because it would not go through door they did not want it. The legs were removable but they said they did not remove legs. All the items were in good condition but not according to this charity.Saveyour goods and give it to someone else where it would benefit the charity and also someone in need

very very very rudethere wasn’t price tag on some stuffi asked a lady yesterday and gave me a price and today when i went to buy it ,my husband who wasn’t with me yesterday asked it too!the other staff gave me different price.and he was accusing me lying, got angry saying that if the price was same why I'm asking it again ?he generously let me buy yesterday’s price if it never happens again!even though still was talking loudly to his colleague!i refused the price cause my pride values more.but it was so embarrassing in front of my husband!

I would like to thank the drivers and staff, especially the store manager for their kindness and help in taking all consideration by helping me with prompt delivery, and fantastic assistance with choosing a few lovely items for my apartment. They assisted me with kindness and professionalism. Thank you once again, and I'll be back.

Got rid of my bed yesterday, was supposed to have another delivered today but they let me down. Went to the Sidcup branch found a beautiful second hand divan & a new mattress. Lady who served me kindly had it put on the delivery truck & it was at my house 45 minutes later. Cannot thank you enough! Your staff are friendly & approachable & willing to go that extra mile. 10/10

The Sidcup Store as got to be the best BHF store within a 20 mile radius, The store is always clean and tidy, Smelling fresh and always set up to a high standard for a Charity shop. The Manager Gary is a credit to the shop, He is always running around helping the customers, No matter how busy the shop he is always smiling. I visit the store 3 times a week(at least) just to see what great bargins I will find. The staff all know what I like and will always have a few items put aside for me to have a look at.Great job Gary. Keep up the good work

No charity here!!I arrange online for furniture to be picked up and the website offers 2 dates, which I choose. When I call the shop the rude man on the phone tells “ we will pick it up when we are ready” and that the time I choose “don’t work for them”. I will never donate this BHF again. I’d rather just take it to a dump.
