The Bagel Place

Been here twice, once for the vegan white rabbit which was okay and I did like the big sun dried tomatoes and the fact the vegan cream cheese was good. However I came back for the vegan pizza one and it was terrible as the vegan cheese used on that one was sadly not of good quality. Please have a look into what other retailers like zizzi’s, papa johns or subway use on their bagels as their cheese is far nicer. I do want to also say I appreciate the effort for the vegan options but the cheese is so off putting.

Oh my! First time eating from here. And to think that I almost walked on by. At the time, I wasn't sure on the price. I thought it was a bit expensive for a round sandwich, but glory be and praise to the Lord of good decisions, I entered. With trepidation and debit card in hand I ordered from the Specials menu. A short wait ensued. My hunger grew as did my anticipation. Finally I was presented with a brown paper bag. I seated myself and deftly opened it to reveal, what can only be described as, a true marvel of a bun. It was a fully loaded beast. At points in my battle I struggled to get my maw around the leviathan, but like the true hero I am I vanquished my foe.In short - value for money, blooming lovely and I would recommend.

I called in for a quick takeaway lunch and ordered the vegan cream cheese, sundried tomatoe and capers on a garlic bagel.The sundried tomatoes were huge and not cut at all, just thrown on top of the thin spread of cream cheese, which made eating the bagel a very chewy and extremely messy experience.To be honest, the whole thing was very bland and I only ate one half of the bagel as it was so tasteless and messy to eat. I didn't enjoy it at all.Not the best.

Nice Bagels. Waiting time is quite long. I asked for Sweet chilli chicken baggel for £6.99 and I was expecting cooked chicken, however, it was cold... I was expecting hot food. Salad was really fresh. If you don't mind cold food you should have a go.

Amazing bagels 10/10 would definitely recommend, I had the chicken and bacon sandwich bagel and it was stunning.My girlfriend had the BBQ grill special bagel and that was awesome

The bagels were lovely, really fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fabulous menu choice. Lovely little shop. Loads of filling to bagel and smoothies and coffee were v good quality.Reasons score was 4 and not 5 were - it was quite awkward to wait for order when shop was busy and also halloumi was cold which seemed a little odd. Definitely go back.

With a large family, always tricky finding somewhere different to eat.The Bagels were perfect full of flavour and wholesome and very fillingAsh who served us is amazing very calm, especially with a big order.Drinks were also lovely and served after the food, perfect.Thanks Ash for starting our da off in style

Bagels were good but a little more bready" than I like for a bagel. Service was great; friendly

went in for breakfast and was met with mixed feelings. my girlfriend ordered the salmon, egg and guacamole bagel to which they received their egg cold. i ordered the sweet chili chicken melt and there was way too much chicken to the point you could not even taste anything else. in my opinion, they could have added less chicken with more sauce and perhaps some fillings could have been added, such as salad or tomatoes. i personally didn’t like the fixed options, i think it would have been more fun to mix and match whatever you wanted inside your bagel but to each there own. overall, the food was good but it could have been better if executed differently
