Thank you for a wonderful evening Romolo. It was my sons first visit. We loved all of the food we ordered ( lasagne and spaghetti bolognese) and the complimentary soup, antipasti and tiramasu were amazing! Fantastic authentic Italian food

Visited Sorrento's with family for the first time in a long time. Food was beautiful and the service could not have been better in this small independent restaurant.

Lovely intimate little one-man-band restaurant. Authentic food and great service. Very reasonably priced and we even got a few extra dishes free of charge. Highly recommended.

Lovely and relaxed restaurant with delicious meals served by the lovely chef. He went above and beyond, with complimentary dishes, including a wonderful apple cake to finish. We certainly left with a smile and can't wait to return.

We had a lovely meal here in this bijou restaurant. Ordered two dishes and was also provided with a complimentary dish! Lovely surprise. The vegetarian pizza was delicious as were the starters. Would definitely pop in again, friendly venue, relaxed vibe

Lovely and interesting bespoke interior, very personal service. Lovely freshly made food. Chef brought out his soup for us to try along with a tiramisu for desert.

By far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant in the North East. Simple but incredibly delicious food, and a cosy atmosphere reminiscent of pizza restaurants in Naples. Service was impeccable and the friendly owner even threw in a dessert on the house.

Authentic taste of Italy, fabulous food and a charming host/chef. Be prepared to wait for your food but delicious complimentary dishes filled in the time. Would recommend this quirky restaurant and we will return. Whitley Bay is full of restaurants but this one is a gem.
