Came in here for an Indian meal, place was really busy, one table seemed a little loud and drunk, so I asked to move and they got me a table in a quieter part of the restaurant. Staff were polite, service was quick, prices are reasonable for this area and there was parking right outside. The food was okay, not bad for a place that dosnt have an local asian population, but the aloo chaat came hot with a sweet flavour, when chaat is supposed to be a cold dish with a combination of sweet, sour and spiced flavours...... not a bad effort and I would visit again though.....

The food was fantastic, one of the best Indian meals we have had.Everything tasted fresh and you could taste all the spices. We will definitely be back if we are working in the area.Well I said I would return and I have. Oct 2023.Spice Club has not disappointed at all.The popadoms are light and fresh and the pickle tray was also good.I had a fish dish which was fantastic. Plenty of fish and you could taste all the herbs, and it was slightly warm on the seasoning side, yummy. It is nice to return somewhere and it be as good as the last time. No one trip ponies here.Thank you Abdul, for making me feel so welcome. If you find my review useful, just follow me as I have plenty more.

Chicken Biryani and tandoori chicken was dry and not very tasty unfortunately, however balti dishes have been good. Loweswater gold very smooth. Small but reasonable vegetable samosas but pickle tray for poppadoms quite bland. Can get very busy, bookings may be needed.

Great Indian based in the town of cockermouth. Generous portions. Lovely walk in and out of the town that took 15 minutes from the premier inn walking on the main road in.

A group of us went for a meal,8 poppadoms and dips3 different starters5 different mainsNot 1 complaint from anyone, the service was attentive and would be hard to beat without crowding you out. I had the lamb Tamarind with Keema rice and couldn't finish it as there was way to much. One of the best Tamarind dishes I've had. Take home bags were required, reasonably priced, lovely restaurant. 1 minor thing, there is only 1 toilet for the gents, so a queue easily forms. Well worth a visit, we will definitely be going back.

As Indian who can eat spice,Let me just say,This isn’t Indian food. This is food cooked with Asian spices. Some dishes was ok, some was very disappointing. There was too much chilli in some dishes and had no real flavour. The lamb chops in the curry was tough and some was cold. The manager I felt didn’t take care of us.One waiter was helpful.Won’t be going back.
