Albion Cars Hereford

We required a taxi for a Wedding we were attending half way between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford so turned to Google searches and came across Albion Taxis. We contacted Mark a good 3 weeks ago through email. He replied and confirmed he would be good for our agreed time and the cost was reasonable as we were not in the local town. Mark turned up when he said yesterday allowing us time to get to our venue and was waiting for us when we left our venue for the return journey to our accommodation on the night. Mark thank you for the Brilliant friendly service. We wanted a very reliable no messing taxi and we definitely got that.

I used Albion taxis Hereford for a 3.5 hours drive from LHR to Hay on Wye and back. Mark, the owner of the taxi service gave me a ride both ways. The drive was very smooth and he was a very nice person to talk with in the long ride. Upon returning, I noticed that as I had exited the taxi I must have dropped my credit card. I confirmed with Mark that this was indeed the case. I asked him to send it to me express service and he took the time to do it and he would not accept any additional gratuity for it! I strongly recommend this taxi service.

Always tries his best and never late. Extremely friendly and cheap and reliable. Cars are up to standard. Would recommend to anyone

I booked Albion Cars back in febuary ready for pick up in may from Derbyshire to Hereford. Mark turned up early which gave the kids and I time to gather our belongings and for mark to get them in the taxi. He was firendly and chatty which made the journey seem shorter. As we had just come from a wedding and quite tired and very thirsty, mark offered to find somewhere so we could get a drink/ bottle of water. My son decided that he needed the loo so Mark ended up waiting a little longer than expected. As i booked the taxi back in febuary Mark honoured the price we agreed on even though there had been an increase. Definitely recommend Albion Taxis. Friendly, on time and reasonably priced. I booked a taxi to pick me up from Birmingham Airport and take me to Hereford. Communication over email with Mark was outstanding from the beginning. His responses were extremely fast and detailed, which was very reassuring. We were in immediate contact by phone when I arrived in the UK and meeting him at the airport was easy and fast. He knew the route well and is a very nice man who is easy to talk to. He was happy to wear a face mask and offered to do so as soon as we met. I could not recommend Albion taxis and Mark more highly! I will be using his services again and recommending him to my family in Hereford.

This company charged almost £40 for a 3.7 mile one way trip this week. I believe they took advantage of my parents who are not used to taking taxis/average prices and are also not confident to argue prices. This taxi was taken in the day time, there is no reason for it to have been this expensive for such a short journey. Definitely will never use them again and will advise others not to either.

My wife booked Albion to take my elderly parents back from Eastnor Castle to Hampshire following our daughter’s wedding the day before. We explained that they were both elderly and one had anxiety issues and Mark was extremely reassuring that he would look after them. He arrived promptly at the castle and my parents said what a good journey home it was for them. Unfortunately my father left his mobile in the car but having contacted Mark on the same day Mark arranged for it to be posted out to him by recorded delivery as soon as possible. Excellent service - can’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent communication from Mark at Albion Cars. We're not from the area and he was extremely helpful contacting us, as promised, to confirm a price for the journey. Mark was also very friendly, professional and reliable. We would definitely use Albion Cars again next time we visit!

Used Mark for airport runs this week and was very happy with such a friendly driver.He was very punctual, communication was excellent and the drive both ways was very pleasant.I would definitely recommend Mark and will certainly be using this company in the future.
