We have just used Eric at Surrey Flooring Services to restore and repair, then sand, stain and varnish our very old and mis-matched original Victorian floorboards. The end result is better than we could have imagined. We have been very impressed with Eric from start to finish - he's 100% professional and a very skilled tradesman. We had no qualms leaving him alone in our house while we went to work and would highly recommend his services to others.

Eric is a true professional and really knows his stuff. We had 3 rooms sanded and the results were amazing - so many visitors think we've had brand new oak flooring.

Surrey Flooring Services have just done an excellent job sanding, filling and oiling the old Victorian floorboards in our period home.The boards upstairs required filling with slithers of wood which Eric patiently cut so accurately, then chiseled them down before sanding numerous times. The finishing process involved 2 coats of very high quality oil and buffing in-between. The attention to detail Surrey Flooring Services provide is really hard to find these days with so many 'skilled craftsman' rushing jobs, sloppy work and general disrespect for the client's home...this is not the case with Eric, he was a pleasure to deal with and was so neat and tidy, clearing everything up every evening. We went away for a couple of nights and didn't hesitate at all leaving him a key, we trusted him fully. I really can't recommend SFS enough, after renovating this old house over the last 18 months I wish that some of the other trades we have dealt with could come up to this first class standard.

I have just had 2 floors sanded, stained and lacquered by these guys and I must say the quality of work is first rate. I found them on a website and from the first point of contact to the job completion they have been extremely professional and hardworking and very reliable.I would look no further when/if I need something like this doing again. We are really happy with the work.
