Argos Tamworth Jolly Sailor Retail Park

I ordered a fridge freezer for delivery today with a 2 week lead time. I was told by Argos that I will receive a text message prior to receiving delivery to confirm a time slot, also I should expect to receive a phone call when the driver is on his way. Unfortunately, I received no such thing! The driver turned up without my knowledge as I was at my local getting the basics. When I called to explain the situation I was told they are sorry for their lack of communication, however the earliest re-delivery slot is now 3rd March. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have an 8 year old child to feed with no way of storing the food. I have requested a refund and will no be looking elsewhere. If it is urgent I would suggest not ordering from Argos.

Expect a very long wait, went there on a week night queues out the door one person picking the orders at the collection but three members of staff on a pc In the corner.When a customer asked on of them to help the lad picking, one of them said I'll be with you in a minute then got up a walked off.And was never seen again.Lots of angry people

My husband ordered a sand pit for me to collect whilst I was out. The item was a disgrace covered in scratches. No refund as I didn't have his card and spoke to a member of staff slapping on chewing gum! Won't be using again rubbish items

I appreciate due to covid restrictions there will be cues & longer waiting times. However, several customers, myself included, had waited in the cue & still did not get to collect our items. Very slow service, my advice is to have home deliver or shop elsewhere.

Avoid. I ordered a ps5 and paid £550, after receiving the email collection confirmation to collect, I then driven for 50 mins in rush hour traffic to be told it’s out of stock even though clearly said it was IN STOCK and ready for collection. I now have to wait 5 working days for a refund. Complete waste of time and not even an apology.

I want to deeply thank one of the guys who helped me and my boyfriend for around 20-30 mins trying to order a PS4 with a load of vouchers we had collected from my Boyfriends work. He was extremely helpful and was an absolute pleasure giving excellent customer service throughout, especially when it was busy and a few colleagues were standing around chatting and on phones.... The lad was a blonde lad, youngish, couldn’t quite get his name as he didn’t have a name badge on, he made the experience 10x better and we would have walked away without his excellent customer service. Thank you!!

I had an issue with a piece of furniture I had purchased so I went into Argos in Sainburys at the Jolly Sailor in Tamworth. I was dealt with by a lady who I think was the manager (I didn’t catch her name), the only sufficient way to describe her was a problem solver - a rare find in my experience! She was extremely helpful in dealing with my issue. My partner and I have had a stressful time moving house, this problem with our order adding to our stress, but things are made 100x easier when staff are as helpful as this lady was when issues occur and seamlessly sorted out our issue. A credit to the store - thank you so much for all your help!

Second lockdown. I went for my goods that I paid for online. First time that I went I queued up all was good and served once I had given the assistant my order number and got my goods.Second time I went it was pouring with rain..I have disabilities and walk with a stick. I queued up but after 10 minutes of waiting I'm told I'm in wrong queue and was told to go to the back of a long queue. I'm not good With standing about as my back and knees are in pain. I saw the previous week that ppl were queuing in the first queue I went in. I did complain. I also told the assistant their are no signs on the windows to say queue that way with arrows. The assistant said we only get what were given.I waited but felt like not getting my goods. Unfortunately the public aren't going to let me go in front of someone. I was offered a chair to sit on in the end I declined as I was near front of the queue then. The assistant told me it was her job to help ppl outside in the queue.. I told her about last week the queue was both sides but she told me she had only just come back into work and didn't know that.

Always a pleasant experience.The staff are really nice and helpful.They have all the covid safety systems in place.Ordered and paid via the app and was in and out in a few minutes.
