A staple in the city center. My favorites are chicken tikka masala and garlic chili chicken. Good food, the service is amazing, strategic place (near the bus stop). A must visit when you crave indian food in Lancaster. Affordable price too, I bought the lunch deal (chicken and rice) for £4.50 only!!!

Went in to get curry and rice to take home to eat later. I didn't realise to have it in the same tub is a meal deal only and has to leave the shop hot. When I asked them not to bother heating it I'll heat it later you would think I'd committed a criminal offence. Extremely embarrassing to be shouted at in front of a shop full of people. It's wasn't even a good deal or brilliant. I've tasted better elsewhere and won't go back

It is a small restaurant but they have various Indian cuisine, from deep fried foods to various curry. They also have desserts. There are chicken, lamb and peas curry. For one lunch box of rice and curry, it costs £4 which is very reasonable. Meanwhile, for one lunch box of curry only, it costs £6.75-7.95. It’s full of meat, don’t worry. You can eat in the restaurant and the staff will reheat your lunch meal, but the space is very limited. My friend and I ordered rice with chicken kurma, lamb tikka masala, samosa, and aloo tikka. The chicken kurma is strangely nice, sweet and not spicy, so it’s safe for those who has little to zero spicy tolerance. Lamb tikka masala is a bit spicy but it tastes good. Meanwhile, samosa is filled with spiced reema peas and its spicy. Aloo tikka is made of mashed potatoes with spices and chillies (more spicy than samosa). All in all, the foods are tasty. If you like spicy foods, this will be good restaurant for you. Vegan curry is very limited but you can find various plant based deep fried choices here.

My dining experience at this establishment left much to be desired. While the prices were budget-friendly, the quality of the food was quite disappointing. I opted for a curry dish, hoping for a satisfying and flavourful meal, but unfortunately, the reality was far from what I had anticipated. The curry I received was excessively oily, leaving an unpleasant greasy aftertaste. Moreover, the lack of variety in the meat pieces was quite disappointing. It seemed as though there were only a few chunks of meat scattered within the curry, making it far from a fulfilling meal. What added to the disappointment was that I decided to try two different curries, hoping to savour distinct flavours. However, to my dismay, both curries tasted strikingly similar. It was a challenging task to differentiate between the two, leaving me unsatisfied with the lack of variety. In all fairness, I can understand the appeal of this place, given its convenient location and affordable prices. However, despite these factors, I found that the food's quality and taste did not meet my expectations. While this may suit the preferences of some individuals looking for a quick and budget-friendly meal, I personally prefer a more satisfying and flavourful dining experience.

Got two chicken samosas, pakoras and 2 chicken cutlets today. The chicken in the cutlet was raw, the samosas were stale.I'm not a fussy person when it comes to food but no way can take in stale food. If it was closer I would have taken back the food but I was in transit while travelling back to London.Would not recommend it to people I know definitely.

Stumbled across this place while visiting Lancaster on a Sunday morning. The prices are very reasonable and a good selection to choose from. Would highly recommend the naan wrap meals. Curry, rice and salad in a naan wrapped and heated up. You also get a drink with this for £4. Bargain. You can dine in but the seating is very limited or takeaway. You can even take home and heat up the food at home.

The food was good. However , when I check my payment few days later, I found that the shop charged me twice . One transaction10 pounds was correct. But the second transaction 15.94 pounds was not my buying. I request for the refund of 15.94 pounds
