As a principal contractor (builder), I paid extra for gravel4you to deliver on a specific day. I paid staff to wait for that delivery.They didnt deliverI sent 7 emails and called them 9 times.I even cancelled the order.Five days later their delivery company rang me to tell me they were outside...no previous call or email....just 'Im outside with a ton of gravel'Its companies like this that give the construction industry a bad reputation.In fairness, if you dont care when your materials are delivered or if you dont plan on contacting your supplier then gravel4you would be a viable option.I wouldnt recommend nor buy from them againThe owner labelled one review as 'Utter lies'; Id be happy to send screen shots of missed called and sent emails to verify our transactionIf Id google reviewed them previously,I would have bought from someone else and had a happier clientNote to Anthony Wood (assumed owner) If you offer a service and your customer accepts, you enter into a contract. If you have no intention of honouring that contract, at the very least, respond to your customer.

Great company. Was concered that I didn’t receive a dispatch email but was reassured by Anothony Wood (the owner) when I emailed him that my order is on track and will be with me that day. Anthony was on hand prior ordering to answer my delivery questions which made me order with them. Delivery driver was helpful and friendly. I have just placed another bulk bag due to me underestimating.Great quality. Fantastic prices (far cheaper than DIY stores). Would recommend and will use again in the future. Thank you very much

UPDATE! Gravel for you! Im still waiting for slate that was ordered over 5 weeks ago! Either send me my order or refund MY MONEY that you have happily taken!! No emails have been Received.Ordered two lots of slate. The first delivery arrived no problem apart from being over charged £25, never been able to get that money back-no response on several attempts.I only realised the over payment when i made a second order weeks later, which im still waiting for. Its been 4 weeks. Several attempts have been made to contact G4U by phone and email, no answer, no response NOTHING! Terrible company that cant deliver and steal your money. Now lets see if i get a reply. Rip Off

Gravel 4 You ;- UPDATE; company have gone into administration. Can confirm they have now issued refund on our order placed on 9th October. Good luck to everyone else still seeking refund.

Really poor customer service. Paid extra to deliver on a specific day, turned up on the wrong day and since then they have ignored every email and phone call I have made. Go to Selco - it’s the same price

I ordered slate from this company picked a delivery date my husband stayed up after doing a night shift no delivery emailed company to be told delivery coming the following day. I then cancelled the order as we weren't available to take delivery. I tried to ring and email this company requesting refund no answer or replies to emails. I then had to raise a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund gravel4you have partially refunded but £84.20 Less than what I paid and guess what no one is answering the phone or replying to my emails no surprise there.

Terrible service! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I placed an order with them and they never delivered the gravel. When queried, they said that the hauler had lost the ticket. I cancelled the order and they confirmed that no payment would be taken. However, they did take payment and have not yet refunded the full amount! Can never get hold of them via phone or email. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend to anyone!

Very happy. Great product, put on pallet close to job, and lovely product, we ordered grey slate 40mm. I was worried on delivery day as there are some negative reviews about this company but I suspect these may be people with hard to reach houses making delivery difficult. If you live off a normal road with an accessible driveway, then use this company. Also, if you have a query the automated answer message is a bit off putting but they will get back to you. I had phone call from staff, reassuring email from the boss and call from delivery driver. Slate arrived around 4pm as we are Warrington and came from Yorkshire but great company would defo use again and highly recommend.Clara Williams. Warrington
