Foyers Roost

One of the most fantastic places I ever stayed in my life. Nothing fancy but clean, cosy, friendly and service oriented to please customers. Louisa and Terry and their 8 cats are perfect hosts. Food is simply amazing and the Scottish breakfast is super tasty and very well done.As a complementary, the views to the Loch Ness are stunning.The bar with an endless menu of whiskies placed in two halls are an originality and something quite amazing.I slept relaxed, warm and in total peace.I highly recommend a stay in this wonderful setting which has aldo a very attractive pricing. Thanks Louisa and Terry for the wonderful time we spent at your place.

A cozy place close to the loch ness River. Rooms are nice and cozy. The shower and WC are shared among 3 other rooms but there is a washbasin in the room which kinda helps. Overall good price for the area. Not many amenities around though so make sure to plan the trip and food. Falls of foyers is nearby and worth a visit.

We had a lovely stay! Everything was as expected, dinner with a view on Loch Ness was a great experience.

Had the best stay here, super welcoming to my friend and I! The restaurant and bar was really nice to have after our long trek, the room was clean and the cats came to say hi to us while we saw the amazing view!This is as far as I'm aware the highest viewpoint from Foyers to the Loch and it looks amazing. Also its only a short walk to the Foyers Falls, a must see in the area.The owner (Louise I think?) was the only person we dealt with for EVERYTHING and she was so lovely to us!!Thanks for a great stay! xx

Probably one of the best places me and my boyfriend have stayed. Welcomed by the gorgeous cats followed by the most luxurious night stay. The rooms were gorgeous, clean and comfy and the owners were so welcoming. Will be coming back here!

We have stayed here twice whilst touring Scotland over the last couple of years. Its a nice, quiet simple place to stay and the couple that own and run it have always been warm and welcoming. Its a short walk down to the Loch and to Foyers Falls which are well worth a look. Our 3rd and 4th stays are already booked for 2021 and we are taking friends with us. For the price of the room there can be no complaints whatsoever - plus the bar has a huge selection of Whiskies. Yes, the bathrooms are shared, but thats never caused us an issue and the food has always been top notch. Perfect for a night or two when touring.

I had the worst hotel experience at [hotel name]! Despite having a confirmed reservation and arriving at the designated check-in time, the hotel staff refused to let us check in. We were left stranded with no alternative accommodation options, and the staff showed no empathy or willingness to help. This is unacceptable customer service, and I highly recommend that anyone considering staying at this hotel looks elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle and avoid at all costs!"

Not the most pleasant of stays if I'm being honest. Cob webs hanging down from the ceiling of the room that my wife and I stayed in.Shared toilets which wasn't the cleanest as people didn't know how to use the toilet properly. So all in all a very disappointing stay. It was that bad to the extent that my wife and I left at 4am. Couldn't wait to get out !!!

We had a good experience here. It's a pretty basic room with shared bathroom, but everything was very clean and we had no problems with that. Had an amazing view of Loch Ness and is just steps away from a great hiking to Foyers falls.

I had the worst experience with [Foyers roost] during my recent trip. I had informed them in advance about my arrival time and had received confirmation that my room would be ready for check-in. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they refused to let me check in and did not provide any explanation for their actions.Despite my attempts to reason with the staff and explain my situation, they remained unhelpful and unsympathetic. I was left stranded and without a place to stay for the night, which caused a lot of inconvenience and stress.The way I was treated by the hotel staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise others to look for better options in the area.Overall, my experience with [hotel name] was very unpleasant, and I hope that they will work on improving their customer service in the future.
