Rackhams is a fantastic local business with a wide variety of treats, feed and supplies for every kind of animal. They also sell coal, firewood, water softener salt etc.I have used them for both small and larger orders; you can buy in bulk to save money and order in advance. Prices are competitive, although there may be occasions where you can find stuff cheaper online.What makes Rackhams a five star business is the setting and customer service; the team are very friendly and will always load your car for you which helps with bulk orders.

Came in here to buy some Wild bird food.The price was much better than Amazon! Very friendly and polite staff, very clean toilets and plenty of free parking. Recommended

Returning customer to buy smokeless fuel. Great advice about what product was best for my requirements. Rackhams New Heat is a brilliant product having previously used standard bituminous house coal. Order was quickly loaded by staff into my car. Would definitely recommend.

(I’ve since changed my 5 star review down to 2 & have added this - *After spending a lot of ££ on bags of wood over the winter (as we currently don’t have a log store) it’s clear the wood is very poor quality. It’s mostly thin pieces of poor burning wood for £6.45 a bag! This is a recent price increase. We’ve tried another local wood seller & the quality is much better. Sadly we will not be purchasing wood from Rackhams anymore) Polite staff. Staff loaded my car whilst my daughter & I had a wander around the shop - excellent customer service!

Friendly staff. But aftersales care is non-existent! I had a very disappointing bag of kindling. Over a third was unusable which rackhams are aware of the problem but did nothing about it.
