Bowen House
We have had a lovely time at Bowen House. Very comfortable rooms with lovely hospitality tray refreshed each day. Delicious breakfasts and very helpful and welcoming owners. In a great location and easy walk for all York attractions. We will visit again.

Clean, comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Located only a 5 minute walk from York Minster. Staff very accommodating. Will happily return again.

Somewhat frosty reception on arrival. No sooner stepped through the door when the lady of the house started panicking about how and were we'd parked the car.Once we got past that little drama all was good. Nice comfy room, clean and breakfast was good.

Located a 5 minute walk from York centre. This is a tidy B&B with a great breakfast service. Your room is cleaned everyday. They even tidy your clothes which the wife didn't like, but I did.

Greeted by Diane on arrival straight away gave us a map and information on York only 10/15mins steady walk to York Minster.Lovely clean room and ensuite.Breakfast was fab and a good choice.Would highly recommend Bowen House.

Visited Bowen House for a weekend away to York, well located 10 min walk to city centre. Host was helpful with suggestions. The room was really tidy and we'll decorated good homely feel

Nice quiet bed and breakfast just outside the hustle and bustle of York. A short walk past a stream brings you to Monk Gate. Diane was very friendly and cooks a delicious breakfast.
