Called in on Friday to get my mother a fish supper and was charged 10.85. Very expensive compared to other chip shops. Will be a long time before I'm back

Just bought two large portions of chips, more like a kids portion, so greasy they should be served with a spoon.Worst chips we've had in many years, and £3.95 each for the trouble!!!!Won't be returning, ever.Give it a miss and head for the Flash in the pan.

Gareth's Ballymoney is absolutely awful last time I will be back can't get a single order right.. even ordered something other that my usual which they mess up everytime but thought they can't mess up a burger surely not zinger with cheese bacon and mayo when it arrives only bacon on it no salt and vinegar on the chips.. my advice is get some good staff that can actually read a docket.. useless springs to mind!!!

Ordered 2 burgers and chips. Both burgers were cold. One had grated cheese and onions. Cheese was rock hard. Onions were the size of a door stopper. Never again!!!!

I honestly have to say i won't be back to Gareth's chippy in Ballymoney, First / Last time.Firstly, the atmosphere was cold, friendly first impressions count were clean out the window. They say no talk in the workplace, well lets just say they got that down to a A*FoodWell the Chicken goujons, batter was hard, left in the fryer to long, the chip curry with cheese, cheese was like rubber it wasn't melting, in fact i think it has put me off chip cheese curry for life.

Second time ordering from here. First time over two hours late and freezing, and last Wednesday it didn't turn up at all!They keep saying they will ring back and dont bother! Avoid unless you want to throw away your money for nothing!!

Ordered a simple, but excessively expensive meal and every part of it was wrong. For the price we paid you'd have hoped for half to be correct at least. Won't be back.

Ordered a jumbo fish and peas turned out to be no bigger than a 5 inches phoned to complain told they don't do jumbo fish but it's on the menu. Terrible food and service

Ordered delivery from Gareth for the first time tonight. I rate a chip shop based on their chips and these are the worst chips I've ever had. They are very brown and so crunchy its like eating crisps. My portion was full of bits of batter or possibly they are refrying the chips so much that they are turning into what looks like crispy bits of batter, or they are not separating their fryers for different foods and just scooping up all the crud together to bulk out portions.

Food was nice but amazingly they don't accept card in 2021. Not really much excuse for that nowadaysEdit. It is now 2023 and still won't accept card. Clearly a money laundering operation
