What a fantastic pub. we popped in for a drink and lunch, the barman was very friendly and welcoming. The drinks were lovely and cold on a windy sunny day, and the food ( I had the burger and chips with salad and my girlfriend had a cheese and onion baguette) were huge meals. I particularly liked the decor and seating, we had plenty of choice and room around the tables, we could've sat outside but decided to go inside out of the wind and away from the gulls.

Had a roast beef dinner here today and the food was amazing! If you like value for money and have a big appetite, then I highly recommend. Its friendly and great atmosphere. Definitely come here again.

Today I ordered the breaded butterfly prawns and salt and pepper squid served with fries salad garnish and red cabbage coleslaw and can I say it’s was absolutely gorgeous! I’m a huge lover of seafood and eat plenty due to being a seaside girl and these prawns must have been some of the best I’ve ever had ! 10/10 highly recommend! And the bar lady was very welcoming and had great service! Thank you !

We held a fundraising event there last week. Bar staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable evening and raised £500 for Prostate cancer research.

First time, was passing by. One of the best fish and chips. Very big portion taste is great and really value for money. Staff are amazing. A family friendly place, toilet is not so great however it’s a wonderful place to eat some great tasty food.

first time visit. saw someones fish and chips from a far and it looked good. me and my mum had it and it didnt dissapoint! really lovely! average price!slower service than most places but was worth the wait and nice to sit outside and watch life go buy
