I quite often meet friends in waterstones cafe. It is clean and airy. The staff are friendly and obliging. The choices are good and the seats comfortable. I also buy books from them and there is a huge choice to choose from. I thoroughly recommend this shop and cafe.

Nice quiet atmosphere, with a good selection of books. The prices can be a little high, but otherwise it's nice that there's even a Cafe upstairs where you can sit and read any purchases.

Really good atmosphere, & I don't ever go to Truro, other than to quickly food shop. But I loved the books, the cafe. I took the time to watch the world go by & read. Staff very helpful, friendly.

Fantastic book shop that has something for everyone, including an excellent children's section. There's a cafe on the first floor.. And more books. Unfortunately the book I wanted wasn't available but it was ordered for me by a friendly member of staff.

What a fab store! They have an excellent and well-curated range of books available, not to mention a lovely little cafe area on the second floor with plenty of delicious goodies on offer. Best of all, it's dog friendly! Love it!

Back in the day there was only a single shelf of manga. Now it's a whole area PLUS anime figures!?? What a time to be alive! I also LOVE that waterstones is bringing in Korean webtoons and are not afraid to sell one of the most controversial comics killing stalking".When I saw it on the shelf I was so happy I could die. It gives me hope for the future of art and our creations not being censored."

The book selection is great and the people are friendly. It's become a mini tradition for me and my boyfriend to go there once every week to explore and read. So we end up going to the cafe upstairs and the coffee cake they have is amazing
