MadMax Adventures

Had a session on the quad bikes with my brother today. We both had a fantastic time, well worth experiencing, cracking trails as well. Our instructor Ewan kept us right at all times and was up for a laugh, will definitely be back at some point!

These guys are epic, had my stag do here and it was 10/10, the whole squad had a good time, well worth the visit. The quad biking is epic, you need to visit here.

Had a fantastic time there, quadbiking and clay pigeon shooting, staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and informative. Especially when one of our group fell off his quad, he was well looked after and a refund was given for the second part of our activities which he was unable to tale part in.

Very fun day out, the instructors were great and got on board with our ridiculous rugby antics. Would recommend to any group looking for a silly day out and those who are competitive!

Excellent instruction and equipment. Headed to Mad Max with a group of 7 people for clay pigeon and a ATV trial. All had a great day, so well looked after and the team ensure that everyone of varying ages and abilities felt included. Highly recommended. Taxi out there should cost about £35 from central Edinburgh (Capital Cars have 8 seaters)

It’s with massive regret I feel obligated to write this. I am always keen to resolve issues with the company but booking through funktion with MadMax we have not managed to resolve the issues we had to my satisfaction. For all fellow best men do not ignore this! We were on the stag trip- Highland games on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The excursion is advertised as 9 activities - it was not in our experience it was actually 6. Further to this the tug of war and caber toss were really the only decent activities. The others were throwing a welly, throwing a medicine ball, throwing some bits of wood and throwing a shot put. For £45 per head it was an absolute joke and left the whole stag group absolutely gutted about time we simply can’t get back. I’m so disappointed with the activity and also the response from Funktion. For fellow best men going to Edinburgh try boom battle bar for a more fun and better value for money experience.

Visited on a very wet and windy day for some clay shooting and highland games... despite the weather the activities continued.. the staff were great, and a really good laugh. Help keep the spirits up even with the rubbish weather.Would love to go back and do the quadbiking... maybe with a little less water though :-)

First Class Fun time. Staff were excellent and full of fun. Certainly made the experience fantastic.
