Great independent shop with a good selection of wool and other craft materials. Owner is very helpful and always with a smile. For a crafter this a must for anyone in the area or visiting.

It is very rare to find a wool shop now. Only bought knitting patterns today but will definitely be back. Usually go to hobbycraft for wool but ringarosie definitely has more choice and prices are cheaper. Great little shop.

I wanted to start a new knitting project to get through the winter months. So, it has been a while since I wandered into Ringarosie with my mum and bought some balls of demin blue double knit and a few patterns. A wide choice of wool and patterns + accessories in the shop, you won't be disappointed.

The shop is an explosion of beautiful yarn and colours . Once in the shop its hard to choose or leave.Barbara the owner is so lovely and helpful too.

Fantastic range of branded yarns and handdyed wools. Expert advice and support is given by staff who have a wide expertise, and are keen to help customers with their projects, however big or small. The owner often demonstrates techniques when customers are unsure. A real gem of a wool shop which is always a pleasure to visit! A role model for all wool shops! Long may it remain in Whitley Bay!

Shop is gorgeous, wools are amazing, staff is less than helpful unless you are a regular. I've been twice now, and won't be back again.

Proper yarn shop with the full range of traditional wools through to my favourite Stylecraft Special DK. If that wasn’t enough there’s also Ringarosie hand-dyed yarn, fabulous range of colourways and different bases to choose from. A feast for the eyes!
