Felt incredibly uncomfortable browsing as their security guard followed me round staring the whole time. I usually love the co-op near my house and exchange a hello with the guard there, so this is especially disappointing. I understand he has a job to do but this was excessive targeting that made me leave without buying anything.

Small Co-op location: has a one way system, plenty of self-service machines and a large section for the meal deal (including a variety of sandwiches).

So I had a crazy employee shout in my face that they weren't accepting card yesterday as soon as I got near to the front door. She had no consideration for personal space, she was shouting at me and it just made me feel really uncomfortable. All I wanted to do was check my bank balance on their machine. Whichever employee has that blue and purple hair, they have no customer service skills at all. I even saw her scare off another customer as I entered and she panicked then telling them that there was a free cash machine inside. She clearly didn't have a clue what she was doing. It's not even customer services actually, she was just down right rude.

I went there to collect my amazon parcel. Two of the members of staff tried to charge me £5 extra for an Amazon collection. This is a total scam and i think there should be an investigation regarding this. Because this co-op is located in the university area where there are many innocent international students, the staff are trying to take advantage of them and swindle them out of money. I do not think this was the first time they did this and I do not think it was just a joke because i asked them 3-4 times and they kept emphatically repeating that I have to pay £5 extra for collection.

This is a small convenience store and very handy. It's everything that you would expect to find in a co-op, foods, drinks and a tobacco kiosk. It's a bit busy because of where it is but that's not a problem.

Came here to grab this coffee, then later went to Spar, and Sainsbury's, found out this coffee is way more expensive from coop.£6 from coop, £2 from Spar and £2.20 ish from Sainsbury's.Most of things from coop are way more expensive than other places. The shop is spacious and clean, but the staffs didn't do their job properly. There were two girls in the shop without mask, and all the staffs didn't even bother to tell them mask on or leave" even they seen it.. it's really unbearable during this pandemic. Some people just don't follow the rules that government ask for

Terrible staff. Consistntly asking me to presenting ID in a agressive manner while I'm doing so. Showing him the Yoti digital ID, which clearly says is accepted at Co-Op, the staff rudely rejects it. Being annoyed by such behaviour I decided not to buy any more, and from this moment the staff behaved like I am some criminal and started mumble something. Will never use this shop again.

Josh Cargill seems to have had a different experience of this co-op than me.Although I agree that NUS cards are useful for the discount (which is 10%) the inconsistency of the NUS cards on the machine has been a real issue for me.Additionally, the selection of fruit and vegetables could be more varied and the prices are awfully dear - only useful for the occasional buy.

As the saying goes, the co-op is 'good with food'. I couldn't disagree more. With frankly embarrassing prices all round, this is clearly an attempt to exploit local students of the RNCM, University of Manchester and Manchester metropolitan university. Set up to entice impressionable and thus vulnerable youth, comfort food and alcohol are the most prominent options. Slightly ashamed to admit that I have personally succumbed to the temptation, but have resolutely decided to improve my life choices. On the other hand they have great granola pots, which form a crucial component in any worthy meal deal, I'm a big fan! I know what I'll be pigging out on for Valentine's Day hahahahahahah!!!!
