Loved this pub. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Great service. Beautiful setting. All dishes were tasty and well presented - good quality and fresh ingredients. Would recommend for meeting friends or family meal.

Brampton Halt
Nice restaurant in a lovely setting. The food was delicious but very expensive. We went for someone's birthday and the staff were friendly, polite and there wasn't too long a wait for the food. It's not really somewhere we would go again for food (only due to the price) but would go for a drink in the summer to enjoy the big garden.

We held our wedding reception in the Marquee at the Brampton Halt and had the most amazing day! We couldn't be happier we chose the Brampton as our venue. The staff and events team were great in the run up to the big day, and on the day everything went smoothly and to plan.The food was great, and the location was perfect for wedding photo's in the grounds of the pub. We got a lot of feedback from our guests saying they really enjoyed the food / venue and could see why we chose it over a 'stuffy' dedicated wedding venue.For any smaller wedding party (sub 100 people) it was really nice having the general atmosphere of a busy pub garden in the background and having other patrons and staff congratulating us during the day.Thanks to all the staff involved. Stopped for lunch and hadn't booked. Got a table with no problems. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, well made and presented. We had roast beef ciabbata sandwiches and fries. Our daughter had the roast chicken and bacon ciabbata. Would definitely go again.

We have stopped there for a Sunday roast. They have very nice garden with a pond at the bottom. Music was played by the DJ. Food was nice and atmosphere even better.

Stopped on our way home for a meal with friends. The staff seated us quickly and were very pleasant and prompt with menus. Drinks arrived shortly after and we placed our food orders.Some of our party were vegans and they were impressed with the range of vegan options which the staff member explained very well.Once ordered the food arrived quickly and was delicious. We were all left with no room for deserts!The pub is very well set out and the gardens and outdoor seating is lovely and a train enthusiasts dream.We would highly recommend Brampton Holt for any occasion
