Overall pretty disappointed! I really had high hopes as had great first interaction. Wasn't the cheapest quote (by about 20%) compared to the others I got but I accepted that because of their ability to start soon and the apparent professionalism.Start date ended up being delayed with poor/no communication. Waited more than an hour and a half for the lads to turn up on first day, an hour on the next. No prior communication regarding them being late - a common decency you would think. I had to call them to try and find out where they were. The first day they did a terrible job; left a mess, walls not level/flat (even to the naked eye), sloppy finishes. I gave them the benefit of the doubt assuming they would sort it out the next day. I went around with them and discussed the main issues. The second day they made some effort to rectify things but still left some walls obviously not flat despite clear communication that they needed to be so for tiling.EDIT: All the tilers and plasterers we have got in since this have remarked at how terrible the job is and that it is unacceptable from people that call themselves plasterers. We are having to get a few of the walls completely re-done now and delayed our works by several weeks.I definitely wouldn't recommend them for plastering.

Aaron and his team are the best in Leeds! A week before Christmas and my living room was in pieces and looked like it had been in an earthquake! I called Bramley plastering and joinery and they came straight round to give me a quote..nothing at all is too much trouble for these guys and thanks to them my room looks amazing! Would definitely highly recommend and there will be lots more work for these guys from me as now I won't call anyone else

Bramley plastering started work to remove my old bathroom, and refit a new bathroom on 4th February 2021, and as of today’s date (28th July) that work still has not been completed. I was originally told the work would take one week and despite multiple promises the work would be ‘100% complete today’ I am five months in and left without a fully functioning bathroom. They left me for three weeks without a working toilet, and even whilst I made arrangements to work elsewhere they still failed to show up and get the job done. They work in shifts of one day on, four/five/six/seven weeks off, the longest day they ever worked was one ten hour day where only a mirror was hung. The standard of workmanship is also appalling, and I am happy to share images to prove this. Despite Aaron acknowledging the shoddy work I have been left to correct this at my own cost. No respect or care is taken for your house, they disconnected a toilet and water flooded my kitchen and I was regularly left to clean up their mess when they did do any work. For four months I have been chasing, often for days, without reply while they went to work on other jobs, seemingly higher priority than my bathroom. The stress, discomfort and inconvenience caused does not even register with them, it’s all empty promises and lies.I take no pleasure in writing bad reviews for local businesses but they cannot be allowed to get away with this. People work hard to earn the money to improve their homes and put their trust in people to, at the very least, finish the job they started. I have been left with my bathroom in a mess and now, at my own cost, I have to pay someone else to rectify the poor work done and finish the job. I strongly advise you to consider any alternative tradesperson for works you are undertaking, even if the cost is higher it is simply not worth the stress and aggravation caused by Bramley Plastering.EDIT - Just to respond to the points raised by the owner below:1. At no stage, throughout the five month process did I say 'you've done a very good job'. I was told 'this will look good' several times, but the added pictures should show it would be very difficult to the come to the conclusion that this looks good.2. When he says a mistake by an employee, he means an employee, that he vouched for, wasted time, money and materials doing work that was completely unacceptable. If you take someone on to carry out work on behalf of your company you should either ensure they are absolutely qualified or skilled to do the job or take responsibility when they produce sub-standard work.3. When he says he compensated me financially with free labour, this was a goodwill gesture provided due to the delays taking to complete the actual work. It was one radiator, not radiators.4. Understand and sympathise with the position of being unwell however this was not the case when you were chasing for payment, or doing other jobs instead of this one. It is categorically not the reason this has taken over four months5. I would be willing to accept money to have the job finished however the offer you have made isn't sufficient to cover replacing materials (tiles, beading), fixing your mistakes and finishing the bathroom. You have therefore left me with little choice but to pursue this through Trading Standards.

Aaron is a great salesman and a great guy at first. He will probably mention to you that he has a 5-star team.We hired Aaron to strip wallpaper, plaster and paint 3 bedrooms, hall, landing and stairs. The quote was to include the walls and ceilings.Once work started, I quickly realised that I could give Aaron 5 stars in: disrespect, taking his anger out on customers, profanity, intimidation, scare tactics, manipulation and lies.Aaron told us that the job was completed multiple times, even when the wallpaper wasn’t stripped, covering his lies with a bunch of excuses. He ignored our questions and concerns, and constantly tried to push us into paying him in full prior to completion. When I advised that he will be paid in full when the job is completed (which was in our written agreement), he became totally erratic and disrespectful. He called me enraged, yelled at me and said he will be dropping the rest of the job. This became worse when they actually completed the job. I asked questions about the end result, I was yelled at again over the phone, accused of trying to get out of paying them (our conversation took place 2 hours after they completed the job!) and told to watch YouTube videos if I had any questions.I was then (the same evening, couple of hours later) threatened by Aaron, as apparently he had ‘4 angry men waiting for a payment’ and things could get ‘out of hand’.Threats, erratic conversations and Aaron’s profanities forced us to consider an evaluation by an independent plasterer to understand if his intimidation tactics and inappropriate behaviour was a sign of them attempting to cover something up.This did not go well with Aaron either. His reaction was to start calling us from 7am the next day, he passed my partner’s personal details on without his consent to his team to double up on intimidation routes and continuous disrespect. You would wonder if the job completed was good. Well, we would not know until it dries and a professional assesses it, because ‘paying when you are happy’ is a complete lie. What I do know right now is the cost of damage to windows, windowsills and a built-in wardrobe that resulted from their careless work - £450. A made to measure tv unit no longer fits where it once was. On top of that, they cleaned nothing after themselves. Plaster was on our toilet and in the kitchen - rooms that were not meant to be even touched by them! It’s really hard to describe what they have done to the floors and how hard it is to clean - scraping off plaster from wooden boards is taking hours, hours and hours. On a side note, make sure you check his reviews on Yell - zero positive reviews in 2022. I have made a big mistake by not looking carefully and missing Yell, so I strongly advise you not to repeat my mistake. It is better to pick any alternative option: pay more, wait longer, even not do the job at all than dealing with Aaron, his team and being treated like absolute trash and losing sleep over your safety.

Thank you to Aaron and his team. They did an amazing job of plastering my living room and kitchen. The job also involved removing an old brick surround from the chimney wall, and I am really pleased with the end result. I also really grateful to the some of the fixes Aaron and his team did along the way, when removing some of the old fixtures. Really friendly, helpful, responsive and professional team and I would highly recommend them.

Aaron and his team did an excellent job plastering one of our bedrooms. Their work was good quality, and they were friendly chaps. I was also grateful for the extra advice and help they gave with inserting coving. Overall, a good, hard working team with great results. Thank you.

Aaron came to lay me some Laminate flooring in my new home. I needed this doing ASAP due to it been the winter months and I didn’t want my children living with concrete floor. I know he was very busy but he managed to fit me in. I have to say his work is done to a very high and professional standard. The floor is perfect. I could tell he takes pride in what he does and likes to make sure his customers are satisfied with the job.Great work and will definitely know where to come when I need anymore jobs doing!Thank you
