I had PM Property Lawyers assist me with the purchase of my new home.It initially started off slow with the original conveyancer, however I must commend Team Harding as they were so helpful for the final 6 weeks of the case. They took over and everything started moving so quickly. Kay was great and always helpful whenever I had queries. I'd also thank Jake for his assistance at the end of the case with the exchanging and completing on the house.Very impressed!

Used PM property lawyers as it was the cheapest on the comparison site and as a first time buyer saving any amount of money is helpful. Started off strong, received all the documents through and set up our file, got on the app etc and then it just went down hill from there. I never get a response when emailing my team 'Lancaster' and don't have a direct email address for my solicitor. I emailed 4 times once and never received a response to any of my queries - the next communication I had from these was them chasing me for documents (the documents I had emailed 4 times about as I didn't understand what was asked of me). They only contact you when they want something and ignore your queries. We STILL haven't completed. They updated my file progress to state they had received everything from me to then chase me 2 weeks later for statements they hadn't received. So the file hadn't been checked thoroughly clearly!! I have been pestering for a completion date or even just a timescale of when we might start to look at getting one and each and every time I have asked for this I never get an answer. They will reply to say they have received something and totally ignore me question about dates. It has been almost 3 months now and we still don't know when we are completing despite the various emails asking for a date. I know the seller isn't in a chain as I have been in constant communication with her. I know things can take time but why do I STILL not have a date or even been told when we will start to discuss a date when I know they have everything they need. They are ignoring the sellers solicitor as she has also been pestering for a date since the back end of last week.I appreciate things take time etc but the communication and not ever getting a reply is just a joke. They state on their app that all messages will be responded to within 24 hours which is a lie... I sent a message on the Fri 8th Sep @ 11.30am and didn't get a response until Tues 12th @ 15.28pm... I know the weekend was included in this but 4 whole days???Honestly would not recommend using these, purely due to their lack of communication and how slow they are. Its worth spending a little bit more and getting some better service elsewhere. The lesser fee isn't worth this much hassle or stress.

We used this company nearly two years ago. Took us from March until December to complete because they ignored emails from us and the sellers solicitors. Our solicitor was rude and ignorant. We were almost made homeless because of how long it took to complete the purchase.Fast forward to now, they have sent us another persons documents out of the blue, important and historic documents to do with their house. For a property on the other side of the country as ours. Not only this, their called my partner by the wrong title, which is just another example of their lack of attention to detail.I've raised this immediately, and I've received no phone call, no apology, no explanation, no response in a week despite informing them I've contacted the ICO.Absolutely shocking and I'd stay well clear.

PMPL ensured transparency and honesty throughout the Conveyancing process.Their speed is second to none and response to emails and postal mails are top notch.Their professionalism is unmatched!

I was sceptical using solicitors that were not local to me, I looked further afield as their prices were considerably lower than ones in my home town. I was totally put at ease when I made my initial contact and the whole experience was worry free and smooth, you have your own dedicated advisor and solicitor, mine was Chris Morris can’t fault him. I would definitely recommend to anyone selling or purchasing a property.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I could give them no stars as that’s what they’re worth. They offer no customer service, don’t respond by phone or email, send one question at a time instead of all together meaning months are wasted and are completely incompetent. It should not take 9 months to buy a house. Frustration doesn’t cover it.

We have used Lewis`s solicitors on several occasions for various legal topics and have nothing but praise for them.Our recent experience was a property sale that was handled by a dedicated team led by Jo, all who kept us informed at every stage of proceedings in a polite, professional and friendly manner.All matters or questions raised were always dealt with in a prompt and easily understood manner and nothing seemed too much trouble.Based on our recent and past experiences, we can highly recommend the team at Lewis Solicitors.

I see there are no good reviews about their Wills and Probate Executive Toni Cheetham, of which comes as no surprise at all. The family had the bad luck of having to work with her & she has certainly left my Mother in a bad state. My Father has recently died & one of his last requests was to add family members to the family home in a simple transfer of equity. She was too inept to complete the transfer & told my Mother she would be in a home soon. Words cannot explain how furious the whole family is with her & we’re speaking to The Legal Ombudsman to question her ability & qualifications, as she simply shouldn’t be in the role. The most logical & only reason we could come to for her saying such horrific statements to my Mother is she has some hidden issues that she takes out on clients. We have since spoken to a properly qualified solicitor (stark difference) & the transfer can be done within weeks (not the 4 months Toni has taken to do nothing). Toni has also kept our TR1 signed family document, of which she has no right to keep hold of & we are still owed the £110 upfront payment. My Mother continues to have sleepless nights from her actions.

I had to chase quite a bit and tge sale did get stuck but compared to what my daughter is going through they were pretty good. And the person dealing with my case was very knowledgeable. So if you are not an anxious person I would go with it… they certainly try their best . Also I had to go get something from my file after 5 months and they printed it and e mailed it to me immediately which helped my daughters progress so so much. I defo wouldn’t say don’t touch them with a barge poll but you can’t beat a local solicitor with local knowledge if you can afford one .

When I engaged PM Property Lawyers for a simple conveyancing matter, my wife was skeptical because they were 25% cheaper than other quotes. 'Nonsense,' I said. 'Conveyancing is just a commodity.'I could not have been more wrong. Repeated enquiries about progress - by phone and email - were ignored. Weeks have dragged by and the vendor now wants to pull out. When I finally got the acting solicitor on the phone she said that she was not replying to phone calls or emails because she had been off work and had a backlog. When I asked who had been handling the file in her absence, she didn't know.Do yourself a favour and pay a few pounds more for a proper lawyer. Avoid this firm. I wish I had listened to my wife.
