Dynamic You

I was suffering from Depression for around two years and then decided to seek help. Alex was absolutely incredible, his unobtrusive approach, meant that I opened up immediately. Each session he would give me practical advice and things that I could do to improve the way I was feeling. As well as this, he explained why I was feeling the way I was and the science behind it too, which helped me to understand myself better. Alex got me to a point where I had all the tools to deal with the situations that I found challenging. I cannot recommend Alex enough.

I would certainly recommend Dynamic You and Alex Hedger. I had never received therapy before so I was quite sceptical of how effective it would actually be. However, after having only five sessions with Alex, I have seen a significant improvement in my ability to manage anxiety. Through mapping the triggers of my anxiety, working through the physiological reasons behind it, we have together developed tools that I’m employing every day with great success. Thanks Alex.

Went through this firm via BUPA. I wasn't aware that I was agreeing to Dynamic You terms, it is not very obvious when you are booking appointments. They operate a strict (non-negotiable) 48 hour cancellation policy, the reason they give for this is so the therapist can re-book the appointment. Fair enough, but when the cut off was 6pm on Sunday and I let them know at 6:30am on Monday, the chances of rebooking prior to 6:30am on Monday seems a bit unrealistic - let you decide on that one. At no point did I refuse to pay, I did ask questions around the fairness of the decision and was met with multiple demands of payment and threat of legal action in less than 11 days after they first asked for payment. Just be mindful of this interaction before trusting this company with your mental health treatment.
