Only engage with KR Construction if you’re willing to enter a world of pain!We instructed KR for our extension project in November 22, with work to commence in April/May 23. Since then it’s been a stream of stalling, deceit, false promises and evasion.In the last few months we’ve been given fictitious start dates of “in a month”, “a week on Friday” or “next Tuesday” and KR even confirmed we should go to the considerable effort and expense of putting our possessions into storage on a Monday, for work to start the next day. Only when we contacted KR the DAY BEFORE to confirm what time they’d be arriving we were told they won’t be starting, and he couldn’t give a a new start date!I’ve had houses built and construction projects done before and realise builders can sometimes be a little vague and unreliable, but this has been at a bizarre level I’ve never encountered before.I guess this cloud’s potential silver lining is that if the quality of workmanship mirrors the standard of client care we’ve had a lucky escape.Beware!!
