Lovely place for me to wheeze my frail frame around.Not too large to be a expedition in fact quite easy,' a walk in the park',you might say.Definately worth another visit to clear out those lockdown lungs and breath fresh air and live for a short while as nature intended.l was very lucky to have fashionably distanced company of a dear friend to make the experience complete.Give it a try and be pleasantly surprised.

We walk around forty acres every day with our dogs. It is good excercise and a lovely sociable place to be. We are very lucky to have a nature reserve on our doorstep.

The site has a number of different areas and small fields. Some are wild meadows, some well kept grass areas and small wooded areas. There are a number of different paths through the site, from tarmac to muddy paths. I highly recommend wellies around winter time.There are two parking locations, one on the main road (hatchet road), that you have to cross over, the other is a small carpark behind some houses on Bush Avenue. We prefer the bush road carpark as it's much quieter and easier with dogs.

Excellent area for walking dogs/puppies for the inexperienced, majority of walkers are dog walkers & even professionals who can give advice in passing, very good for dog to meet other dogs aswell perfect for training.
