The food was very nice. The staff very polite and it's a very scenic area to relax with friends. However I noticed the older bar man sticking his nose right down into the individual drinks on a tray so he could tell the waitress what was what. Not exactly hygienic or covid 19 safe considering no staff had masks on at all at anytime.

We went here for dinner only. Mixed reviews from friends, so we decided give a go. Was very impressed with the food, it was very tasty and the staff very friendly. I will definitely returning.

Stopped off at the Carrybridge for lunch, because the food is always very good, with friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere and great views down onto the boats passing bySea food chowder starter was excellent, with a variety of fish chunks and a mini wheaten bread . The main course of fish and chips, a simple choice , but the fish was absolutely superb.

Ate here 6 weeks ago I will never eat here again. I ordered the steak and pork belly. The side didn't come with it as advertised. On asking I was told it had been forgotten. I ate some of my partners and was willing to let it go. Then we shared desert which was Eaton Mess. It came with a six inch hair in it. At this point I went and spoke to Gareth who I think is the manager whose response was I will tell the chef! On paying he said I have took the price of the desert off. At no time did he apologise which annoyed me the most. Such a pity as I have enjoyed CB over the years and the staff. I will however go back for a quiet drink as it is such a beautiful setting.

Hadn’t been here since I was a kid so was going back to my youth. Arrived by car but you can also land by boat. The jetty is large so no issue parking up if that’s how you arrive. The food was nice and the staff are very friendly. The decor needs a wee touch up but not an issue. Dog friendly which is great. Would I go back, definitely.
