Booked to try kayaking and loved it! Good price for an hour and having never done it before, it was easy to pick up and the instructor came over to give me tips on how to spin around. Enjoyed it so much I’ve booked to go back next week!

Fantastic afternoon with friends. Staff were brilliant. Such a great location and really good value.We tried paddle boarding (fantastic fun 5 stars) and kayaking (enjoyable, but not as good, as the boats weren't that comfortable 4 stars).If you give it a go, I would recommend paddle boarding!

I attended a powerboat course this weekend with Will, and it was exceptional. The centre has toilets, a coffee machine, large classrooms with all the equipment we needed, and of course (several!) boats in which to practise. The whole thing was safe, well-organised, effective, and Will was a fantastic instructor. There were several different groups in attendance and everyone seemed really happy. Would definitely go again.

Attending a Sunday morning cold water swim session which was fabulous! The staff and swimmers were all really friendly, the facilities were amazing (spoiled with changing rooms and showers!) and the swim price includes a hot drink and cake bar as soon as you come out of the water. Water safety done properly with a boat and SUP out on the water and wristbands to check you in and out. Thoroughly recommend and will be back!

Been swimming here for a number of years, and is the best swimming facility in Manchester. They care about the customers too, any doubt of water quality and the swim won't be held. Hot showers after which is far better than changing in a gazebo. Great staff who go the extra mile, last year I couldn't swim due to a fractured collar bone, but they were more than happy to pause my swim sessions until the next year. And of course the famous Halloween swim-best swim of the year.

Booked myself on a SUP session thinking I’d be one of many paddlers but it was just me - probably something to do with the torrential rain!The staff were great, I was greeted at reception and pointed in the direction of changing rooms etc. Once I was appropriately dressed, instructor came out and fitted me with a life vest and off we went.Although the weather was dreadful, I was accompanied by an instructor in a boat, who stayed in the vicinity at all times - it was only my third attempt at SUP.I was more concerned that the instructor was getting cold and wet sat in the boat but I was assured, all was fine.This was a great location for me to practice paddling and I felt safe and comfortable. The equipment provided was excellent quality and in great condition. I will be back but hopefully on a warmer & dryer day.

Saw the moonlight paddle boarding around the Quays, advertised on one of the social medias and thought that's something different. What a great idea.Even though it was chilly, we hired a wetsuit, which kept us warm. The staff took us around various docks. It's a view of the city you don't usually get to see, especially at night with all the lights on the buildings. I can imagine that as more Christmas lights and decorations are placed on buildings and apartments, it will look even better throughout December.

It was a truly amazing day spent with my teenage children. The place is absolutely wonderful, and everyone is always there to help and assist. It was £11 for each child for an hour kayaking, including the wet suite, helmet, and instructions briefing. Special thanks to Adam, the instructor, for giving the kids all the kayaking instructions needed for the day. Will definitely take my children there again.

Great spot for open water swimming, first time today and the centre is well maintained, clean changing areas, secure lockers and great staff keeping swimmers safe. Will definitely be back as it gets colder.

Attended the SUP instructor led course for 1 hour. Well organised, knowledgeable and loved every second. Highly recommend it.
