It's a great place for dog walking. You can walk around the paths in trainers and not get muddy if you wish, or go off piste where welly boots would be advisable.Lots of different paths to choose from

Great woodland to walk round. Good for dog walks. Shame they removed the kids play areas but I believe this was due to lack of funding for the up keep of them. Lack of parking if busy.Update: beautiful bluebells too.

Stoke Park Woods
An ancient woodland that is excellent for dog walks (especially in high summer as much is shaded by the tall trees) and family strolls. It has ots of paths of the main gravel tracks around all things woodlands.Beautiful place with a few woodland hills and little streams in parts. If you're lucky you may spot a deer, we have on many occasions. The woods has multiple entry points which helps to mix it up. Note: The main car parks can fill up in nice weather. Some muddy tracks mean you should wear your wellies in rainy weather, but great place to visit all year round.
