Frog Lake

A lovely natural habitat and walk along the Langstone coastline. Keep an eye out for the People's Monument - a truly relaxing place to sit and reflect.

Along the Eastern shore of Portsmouth, very popular with walkers and runners.There are a few small lakes with various wildlife to see.The Peoples Memorial is a peaceful place very lovingly maintained.

Great place to walk my dogs and just too be out in nature and grab some peace.

One of two favourite places in Portsmouth to walk the dogs. One side you have water and on the other lakes and nature. It doesn't seem big but it's actually an amazing place to be. Highly recommend!

Frog Lake itself is inaccessible due to all the vegetation,brambles,thorns etc. and the place is overgrown and not maintained from what I can gather when I visited in June 18 thus negative feedback for the Lake however very impressed with The People's Memorial which is privately funded Memorial to those very sadly lost in British Armed Conflicts;this is a tranquil oasis with lovely benches;greenery;bird boxes etc. away from busyness of the city,also great coastal views of Langstone Harbour and not far from 1 pub to the north and 2 pubs to the south;within walking distance following coastal path.

The whole area is great for walking, and hard to remember you're on the edge of a busy city. The lakes provide habitat for plenty of birds, and an enjoyable place to spend time watching them. It has become quite overgrown of late. Good for the wildlife, but harder to see the lakes.

A very pleasant walk along this path this morning. There was bright sunshine, a pretty cold wind but it was nice and fresh.
