James and the gang know there stuff and are always willing to help. I had a steering problem with my 356 and James was able to diagnose and fix it on the spot. Top Banana!

I had been looking for several months to find someone to paint my 1966 VW Beetle which had been body off restored and sitting in primer. I met James and Brett at the Stony Stratford classic car show in January 2020 where he had a beetle on display that had been painted by Cool Classics and I was impressed with the qulaity of the paint work. James came to see the car and we spoke about my very specific requirements for what i wanted and I was very happy with what we had spoke about and with Jame's knowledge/experience. I was happy with the price for the work and a timescale was set for the work to be done. Unfortunately COVID put paid to the original timescale but we rescheduled and the body went off and was painted, the colour match was perfect. I had also met Joanne and decided to discuss what we could do with the interior - again I had very specific requirements and Joanne was able to explain what was achievable and I was extremely pleased with her attention to every detail in putting the interior together. I reassembled the car back at home and then it was returned to Coolclassics for final detailing , window fitting and headliner. I am so happy with how the car has turned out and the quality of work by Coolclassics and Trim tastic - I think the photos clearly show what a great looking car has been achieved.

I could not recommend James, Joanne and the rest of the team at Cool Classics more. Every time I’ve had concerns about my 1991 Ford truck (and there’s been a few times), they’ve gone above and beyond to get her in the garage at the drop of a hat (even when they’re so busy already) to give her a once over and talk a novice through the process. Will be returning again and again.

I had my 1970 MGB GT restored inside and out by Cool Classics and Trimtastic. The work was quite major and after an initial consultation by James at my home, I drove the car to Cool Classics for an in-depth review and assessment. We agreed a price and timescale for the restoration work and a start date. I've now got my car back and I'm pleased with the end result. During the restoration I was able to visit to gage progress many times and James provided regular updates, messages and photos too. Each time I met James and Joanne (Trimtastic for the interior fit-out) they were friendly, helpful and professional. I'd certainly recommend both Cool Classics and Trimtastic and would definitely use them again.

We have had mechanical and bodywork done on our 2007 VW T5 at Cool Classics and cannot fault anything about the workmanship or the service. The works we've had done range from welding, paintwork, rust removal, underside wax-oiling, servicing and MOT. One some occasions James & Joanne have fitted us into their busy schedule very quickly. Service is always friendly and honest. Highly recommended. This is Mr. Brightside's new hospital.

I've used Cool Classics twice in the last few months, on my old 911. Firstly some bodywork and later a lot of suspension and other mechanical work. The workmanship is excellent, the prices are very competitive and the customer service is superb. A great find and highly recommended.

I took my modern classic SLK-32 AMG to Cool Classics MK as they have a good local classic reputation but don’t scorn modern classics (Golfs etc) like some body shops. You know what, their reputation is totally deserved. New wings (it’s from the time when Mercedes bought cheap steel) colour matched the paint exactly (took the fuel door and scanned it). Did all the extra little bits I asked for (even one on the day of dropping off) and also sanded and blew over my A posts which had a been poorly painted last year.Cannot recommend them highly enough, James and Joanne run a good workshop. They also have a servicing and MOT prep facility.Prices are very fair, workmanship is superb.Edit/: I’ve now been back twice more to CoolClassics - on both cases to have the undersides of different cars cleaned and wax coated (a w208 CLK and an modern 4x4) In both cases they have excelled in the work, going that extra mile that makes the job, and the care and attention to my cars even better. No hesitation recommending this team for any work from service, to trim, from engine build to complete body restoration.

I found James the proprietor of cool classics to be rather suspect given his treatment to a customer who had paint renovation work previously with a modern American classic & amount of money spent. The service & work done was terrible second time around with a different car considering the amount of money spent on both occasions . Disappointed in my second visit with shoddy work & repairs he had a contract with me to make my American classic car safe after it was laid up for quite a while from a previous owner. Which was agreed shouldn't be collected until ALL the work was done on the mechanical & electrical side. I agreed to bring back the Cadillac after that work was done for some paintwork to be refreshed. What was annoying after dropping off the car a few days later was asked to move the classic car as it was taking up space in his unit. I drove the car back to storage & was assured everything was fine with partial work done. I was nearly killed in the car due to repairs/servicing not being satisfactorily or safely as suggested. My car would have had around £4,000+ pounds worth of added renovation & repairs/servicing but was failed in customer service & repairs/renovation agreed. I was ripped off of £1,600 with stage one of the repairs/renovation & was unconvinced by the work done that cool classics were supposed to do, but nothing which was to warrant the expense. I was billed for a partial repair which should have included a Cadillac handbook that I never received. In the meantime James of cool classics never had the Cadillac rebooked for my car to have corrected repair work they had done already or finish off work contracted out to do. He even avoided contact with me even blocking me on the Facebook webpage so I couldn't discuss anything. They also had bad staff relationship issues. He sacked one of his most competent workers even owing money to him there appears to be a history of that too with him & his staff. Please avoid unless you want overpriced restorations for sub standard work. Would strongly advise look elsewhere. If I was allowed to score nil I would.*UPDATE*I find James always sketchy with the truth as I found out at a recent car meeting with his yarn put about in answer to the episode with him & company with recent breach of contract being let-down by him & his questionable work his response is as usual dismal. He never messaged me or rang me after I had a face to face with him at his workshop about the dangerous lighting & mechanical running of the Cadillac the morning after the night before when I could have had a serious accident or killed where others could have been involved.

What a refreshing experience, James and Joanne are great to deal with and are really helpful. For this novice wanting their mini restored they made it so easy and they took such pride in taking a shabby mini and returning it to it's previous glory. Our thanks and appreciation....
