Proper bar with prices that put the local Wetherspoons to shame, given the music and live sport here. The staff are also very friendly.

I like this pub. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere non threatening, the locals quite happy to chat to you if stood at the bar. If you aren't local, this can lead you to think its a pound for idiots who cant find their way back to their village.

Extremely poor customer service. Rude and stroppy barmaid who clearly didn't want to be there. If you are not a local then forget it. Children are not welcome, asked for the television to be turned up to watch sky sports which they draw people in to watch, to be advised no!!! Jukebox was playing..No volume allowed on the tele but when a local requested tele was turned up without question. No please,no thank you, customer service was applauling.I am ashamed as a Welsh person if this is the level of customer service we are showing to our visitors. Suggest give it a wide berth and go elsewhere!!!

The most least friendly and unwelcoming pub I’ve ever had the displeasure of being in. The place was freezing cold and the barmaid was extremely grumpy and unhelpful. Will definitely not be returning!

Didn't have ID on me as just finished work, clearly look over 18 anyway, wouldnt serve even a soft drink and was told to leave the premises as it was after 5pm ...it was 5:45, even showed a clear picture of passport which shows I am 21. Been in before and staff were rude then as well. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't return.

Was meeting someone there for a drink, so looked around for them, as I wasn’t sure if they had arrived yet or not. The bar lady came up and I asked where the loo was, expecting to go to the bathroom then order drinks with the person I was meeting, and realised she had come over specifically to tell me that ‘they were not a public toilet’, in a rather rude manner. Rather than stay, I called the person I was meeting and we went elsewhere rather than support an establishment that makes guests very unwelcome.
