Restaurant dining excellent.Varied menu, meals well presented with very attentive service.Car park large but lighting could be better especially around hotel entrance.

Lovely hotel restaurant. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean room which was a good size too. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was beautiful. Breakfast was very nice too. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I am returning to this hotel in another 4 weeks when I visit my friend. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely disgusting service. I've broken down, tried to get a room or even somewhere my daughter and I can get warm and feel safe. , whilst we wait for the AA. It's almost 4 hours and 4am. I call the emergency number to get a no we are full

Great food, lovely staff but excessively slow service!. Nearly 4 hours for 3 courses. We did arrive slightly late but 45 minute gaps between courses was frankly not good enough.

Booked meal for 16 pre booked meal 4 week ago when arrived told no salmon, then no pie, then no peas, no vanilla ice cream no strawberry gin, booked for 1.30 did not get food till 2.30 starter and main at same time some had almost finished by time others started then dessert took over 30 mins to start coming out over half hour to get them all to table so again some had finished young lad serving us was very fed up and frustrated. Would not go again terrible service and only one poor lad serving

This was our second Route 66 motorcycle reunion here, 18 people stayed in 9 rooms for dinner, bed and breakfast.A big thank you to Roxy for booking all the rooms when there was an issue with your computers. Thanks to Miriam for sending the menu for our food pre-orders and to Reya for booking us all in on the day of our stay; all were friendly and helpful as ever.A big thank you to Toni and her team for setting us up for dinner in a “private” area just for us, for getting all the food out in good time and all together and also taking extra orders for desserts, and thanks to the chefs too. Thanks to Devon for checking to make sure everything was OK. It was appreciated by us all.We all had a great stay and there is a possibility that we will book here next year for another reunion!

Love the Field Head for the atmosphere of the venue. It's relaxing and makes for. Nice spot for us centrally to meet people.Staff are always friendly. A massive shout out for Toni who is amazingThe recent Drag night was fantastic also.

Had a full english breakfast at The Fieldhead recently, all in all not too bad, only criticism is that the bacon looked like it was cooked on the radiator. Please have a word with the chef, as the bacon appeared to have went straight from the packet to my plate...

Visited for a celebratory Sunday lunch. Had to pre-order for some reason- never happy doing this. I have so much to say but I'll keep it brief and just say the meal was terrible - it was tepid and looked awful. We were given a discount, and this was gratefully received, but it didn't take away from the fact that the quality of the food was awful.It shouldn't be difficult to produce a good quality roast!

Not overly impressed with my Sunday lunch .Yorkshire pus hard ...very hard to cut ..only had carrot ,everyone else had broccoli too ...didn't notice till halfway through meal .Ambience good though and not crowded which my group appreciated. Service good .
