Very disappointed. I took in my desktop pc to repaired. I’m pretty tech savvy and had already suspected PSU failure which Gareth confirmed later in the day and asked if he could clean the internals. I said yes and I expected to pick up the machine next day. Unfortunately the next morning I was greeted with the news that the pins were now bent on the cpu. Since it had sat undisturbed in the motherboard for a decade it doesn’t take the wildest stretch of thought to conclude this happened during the cleanup /diagnosis. The fact there was no charge (reasonable considering) validates this.I’ve lost all confidence in what I thought was a skilled tech savvy operation. Instead I’ve had to buy a new pc. Really disappointed***Updated to address the reply to this review.no this is incorrect. The cpu had not even been touched by myself in ten years and was totally in place as normal when I dropped off the pc. It was your technicians which removed the cpu, not me. I hadn’t even opened up the case nor did I say any such thing. Yes the pc needed a clean but this does not excuse incorrectly blaming customers for damaging their own pcs. Dishonest business practices evidently ****

I have been with Elte Computers for 10 years. I came up from Bristol in 2012 and picked them because they were the nearest to the temporary accommodation we were living in. We thought we might find a better place when we got a house up here. The house came a long quite quickly and is Ok but we never ever found a better computer shop. If I need to move again then Gary will have to move too. or I'm not going anywhere.

First time I've ordered a custom build. Don't know why I'd never done it before. Really pleased with my new machine. 16GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, Nvidia GTX 1050Ti Graphics Card, Intel i5 all for a fraction of the price I'd have paid for an off-the-shelf brand model full of pre-installed junk. Works like a dream, and can finally open Lightroom and Photoshop at the same time as other applications and not take hours editing photos. Service was really fast and professional. Thanks

Phoned up to check on stock. The guy I called clearly did not want to be on the phone to his customers. E.g. Like when you go to Macdonald's and you order a big mac, and before you can choose you're drink, they have abruptly asked you if that is everything and then you have to explain that you wanted a meal.

Fantastic service. Great customer service would definitely recommend and return should I have any other pc issues in the future.

Could not repair pc then went through pc to find the wrong address and send threatening letters demanding payment even though I had not even received a bill just a call from a mobile number asking for money for well nothing basically. Would avoid very unprofessional. - editing due to response. 1. I didn't provide an address as was not asked too. 2. It wasn't a false address it was a previous address that you found while snooping around on my computer and it was an ex partner so why are you lying saying it upset her when you haven't spoken to her? . 3. I made payment even though you couldnt even fix it so you got money for nothing, asking around your know as cowboys an awful shop with rude staff who take money without even making repairs. AVOID

Have used Elite a couple of times in the last 12 months for 2 different computers. Can't recommend highly enough. Quick, knowledgeable, excellent customer service and reasonably priced. 5 stars.

Fantastic customer service from the beginning , the whole team went above and beyond when building my sons PC, and the aftermarket service they provide is second to none, any problems we may have are dealt with swiftly and professionally and nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable and a total pleasure to deal with, they explain everything fully and in a manner that helps us understand.I can’t praise this company highly enough, and would recommend them to anyone. They truly are IT specialists and offer excellent value and quality in all aspects.Give them a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Took my laptop in to fix an issue with it not connecting to wifi, got told a full reset was what was needed and that all my data would be backed up. I specifically asked whether my essays and uni notes would be ok and was told yes with no warning that there was a chance it wouldnt be saved. Got the computer back and the majority of my data was lost including my essays for university. This was very frustrating as it means I have to rewrite my essays.Unable to now complete my essays I needed to have evidence for my uni to get an extension and so I emailed asking for them to explain what happened. Days go past without a response so I call and its explained that they were emailing that day. 2 more days pass with my deadline 2 days away and I called admittedly very frustrated at this point however the owner hung up in about 10 seconds and continued to do so. After 5 calls he finally talked to which he claimed it was not their fault my essays were lost despite promising theyd be ok. He refused to send me an email meaning I cannot get an extension for my Uni work.The owner refused to listen or help with the problem that had been cause by false promises and has left me in a worse situation than when the computer was brought in.
