I can't thank you all enough for your care and kindness during Mum's last days. She felt safe with you, and nurtured. Somehow you managed to transform those tender times into something life-affirming. That's a special kind of magic, and it's something I shall never forget.

Could not fault a single aspect of the hospice. We as a family were all greeted and treated with great respect. My husband who was the patient found it was a home from home situation and felt so comfortable while there which gave us all peace of mind.

Very good care for my father before he passed away. However, for the comfort of patients please don't bother with buying very expensive Dyson fans costing hundreds of pounds which blow room temperature air way over the head of the patient & do not cool them down - they are useless. They are not air conditioning as one of the nurses there seemed to think! Pedestal fans at the foot of the bed costing £20 would be better. Better still get window air conditioner units installed. This will make a huge difference to the comfort of patients. Also please install blackout blinds - the translucent vertical blind had slats missing & let in too much light. These can probably be fitted for £50 per room. The care is great but in the summer it is too hot and too bright. When someone is dying they don't want to be be made to feel even more uncomfortable because of the environment they are in. Also, when patients are in the toilet don't hang around outside chatting and enter after 5 minutes asking if they have finished, the patient suffers from performance anxiety and a lack of dignity! My Dad hated that. Apart from that I was pleased that my Dad had a room that wasn't a hospital and he was looked after by some very special people. Thank you.
