Galleny Force Waterfall
Nice small tumbling river and great scenery . But very Rocky path . We drove into campsite along a very rocky road and very narrow , luckily we did not meet anything , then walked through the wooden gate at the back of the site a Rocky climb the other side of the gate but then the path gets better eventually you come to a bridge to cross to other side but to get back to the camp site you have to walk into the village and then back up the Rocky road . Bit too much for us being in our late sixties and early seventies!

Beautiful place for a walk, not strenuous at all, blackmoss pot fairy pools are so crystal clear, what an amazing place for a fresh water swim

Great swimming spot. If you have a large 4pm you can drive down the rocky road and park right outside. Otherwise can park in the campsite. Lots of spots for swimming and beautiful scenery.

Galleny Force Waterfall
Beautiful place. Parked up outside the village as to not upset the villagers. Easy walk through the pretty village which has a lovely pub that serves food and a beer garden.There is a tiny cottage across the road that serves teas,coffee etc. The walk to the falls was mostly easy with a couple of steep rocky/tree root ways up and down. Once at the falls it was so pretty and peaceful and not to busy. We had a lovely swim in both the pools and it was fun climbing over the little falls and rocks then sliding back over them. Definitely one of our favourite days in the Lakes

Galleny Force Waterfall
Lovely walk from the main road at Rosthwaite to Black Moss Pot. Even in November it was really nice. Not the biggest of waterfalls but a really nice stretch of water. Lots of rock, trees, plants, mushrooms etc. While there we were treated to a fly past from a jet, a Hawk T1 possibly, amazing to see it blasting through the valley really low.

Galleny Force Waterfall
Beautiful walk around the river and then up Gowbarrow Fell. Very busy by the Waterfall but lots of places to walk with family and dog. Definitely worth a visit.

Stunning. Parked at the camp site £5 all day, the water was so fresh and the whole family enjoyed diving in and having a swim

Galleny Force Waterfall
Attractive waterfall in a wonderful setting, not for from Stonethwaite. Very peaceful when I visited in the early evening despite being situated only a short distance from a big campsite.
