Parkdean Resorts Looe Bay Holiday Park, Cornwall

Caravan was large, mostly clean and a good price for the size out of season.We used the bar, the arcade and joined in with the bingo but didn’t really use the other facilities.The adventure golf was nothing to write home about and looks a bit tired.The shop there had a huge selection of food, snacks and gifts so didn’t need to bring much with us.The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Some negitives but also some positives...Arrived late but that's OK bar had our keys, got to caravan, didn't like that there was no paths to the caravans so very muddy. No loo roll supplied.... luckily brought our own. No spare pillows, flat like we were dipping at the head of the bed. The smoke alarm for the initial hour kept beeping adhoc, And our lounge window had water inside the double glazing.Has a small free soft play, a booking system for the swimming to allow not to many people. A park and crazy golf which wasn't able to use due to rain lol. Very close to Looe which was nice. Very warm caravans.

Unfortunately not the best caravan park I've stayed in. It seems to be a bit run down and tired and needs a lot spending on it to make it more inviting and relaxing place to be.We stayed in a supposedly top of range dog caravan the carpet was pulling up ,stains on seating area, rust on radiators. The staff seemed to be uninterested in what they was doing, only 2 staff that I saw smiling and happy to help was the security lady and the cleaning lady I seen when walking my dog rond the siteWe won't be coming back here again which is a shame as it could be a nice place.

What can I say! For what you or your family can get, it's overpriced in everything from food to entertainment. Carvan is dirty, stains on the sofa and carpets. Damp and cold. Food is not great and waiting time is over 40 minutes when not busy. Waited 20 minutes for tape water. The only good thing was the Entertainment staff. I would not recommend this holiday park to anyone.

Staff friendly and helpful, especially maintenance staff. Site kept clean and tidy. Overall the site as a whole felt a bit tired and in need of an update, it is however in a good location.I have one message to the management -PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT put non pet owners in a 'pet friendly' caravan with out at least checking it's okay with them first. There was strong pet odours in all the carpets furniture including the bedroom.

Excellent location.Just popped in for a short break. Fantastic service from Katie in The Venue restaurant and bar. So happy to help and so professional and service minded.English breakfast was perfect. I had an incredible experience during my three-night stay in their three-bedroom caravan. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all well-maintained and clean. They provided basic kitchen amenities for our use, and the heating and hot water facilities worked perfectly.

If i could give 0 stars for this park i would.The management are non existent.Health and safety goes out the window when it comes to weather warnings.Allowing 20 ton trucks on site during torrential rain to be allowed to drive over grass to collect a water tanker whcih then got stuck and block entry and exit for the day but the site/management deem that as acceptable.In the interest of health and safety DO NOT book caravans 291-307 there is only one entrance and exit, if the lane entering the location for these gets blocked you CANNOT exit the site.No management on site at anytime when this happened or even after to discuss the matter.Got offered to stay an extra night which was then pulled from underneath of us later in the day.Reception staff seem to think its ok to suggest that physically disabled members of the party should walk up the steep hill from the bottom of the site to then catch the bus to go where you want to go because THEY HAVE BLOCKED OUR CARS INGot told we were the only people that complained even though i walked up to the reception with a caravan owner who was also stuck and had to get a taxi back to her home due to here having a hospital appointment which was then paid for by the park.Email responses afterwards basically get you no where.LISTEN TO ALL THE REVIEWS OF PARKDEAN AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH IS NONE EXISTANT

Whilst the location is great, the caravans themselves are extremely dated and need a huge internal make over. The carpets were so worn and marked, sofa cushions lumpy and got a lot of pulls on them, heating inefficient and the beds were so uncomfortable. For the location, and the price, you’d expect a clean place to stay however this was not the case. Cookware was dirty! Personally I’d suggest staying elsewhere.
