45% rise in renewal after 2 years no claims. Unjustifiable.The company renewal for my dog and his insurance was a 45% increase on the previous year. I have made no claims in that previous two years!The company justification was that more people in general are claiming and vet costs have gone up so it impacts on all renewals. That is ridiculous as a reason.Here is an outline below:£21.22 a month in 2021 Otto was 7. No claims made.£22.92 a month in 2022 Otto was 8. No claims made.£33.23 a month renewal quote in 2023 Otto has now just turned 9. Still no claims made.I do not think this can be justified. A 45% increase.If reading this puts one person off using the company then at least I feel I've done some good posting this review. Rip off. The holding company of Pet Wise is called Insurance Factory.

I moved my policy to Petwise last October 22 and sadly in December my beloved dog was diagnosed with a serious liver issue and passed away in March 23Petwise staff been excellent throughout this time. An email when a vets claim has been received and confirmation when paid. Considering I was a new customer they have paid every claim promptly (a considerable amount in a short time) with excellent communication at all timesI really cannot thank them enough at what has been a very difficult time and would thoroughly recommend them based on my experience

I put in a claim after my beloved dog gained her wings (May 27th).The length of time and effort I had to go through completely prolonged this experience.Despite being told the aim was 20 days it was much longer.Having to phone and chase up, and getting asked the name of my pet each time, and then having to explain Her name WAS...."

I moved both of my dogs to Petwise Insurance and after two years my elderly (15 years of age) Labradoodle was struggling so much; incontinent, blind, not eating, difficulty standing and falling over that we decided it was kinder to let him go. We arranged a home euthanasia with a vet and a cremation. We notified Petwise this had happened and claimed on their Farewell Policy which pays out a maximum of £150, far less that we had already paid. Because the vet had written Arthritis as one of our dogs symptoms they have refused to pay out. They could have chosen incontinence, immobility or just old age. What makes it worse is that we never claimed for his arthritis it was just on his records as having it. The pain killers for arthritis we bought for our dog, were never purchased using any insurance policy. I contested their findings and they said 'I should read the small print in their policy booklet

So far so good. Second year with Petwise. Have used the 24/7 vet consultations as part of our lifetime cover and extremely helpful and friendly! It is high costs but worth it so far.

I think this company are really good for older pets, I've had no issues with them from claiming for our older cat. They've been great for her so far. Very niche clientele & this service is needed

Echo everyone else with this company absolutely shocking! Our dog passed away and we were advised our claim would be processed quickly and still nothing! I have claimed previously on it and nothing was paid correctly, always found an excuse not to pay and took so long racking up debts for us. Awful company!!

Remy had a lump appear on his chest in March 23.. took out my policy end of 22. He needed it removed plus another small one. I paid my excess and Petwise spoke directly with my Vets. It was all paid and I didn't have any further worries. Highly recommend. My policy was new and my vets got paid. Simple
