Nothing wrong with the cleaners they use but customer service is awful. They demand the service charge even when the maid hasn’t been to clean (for one month). They also expect you keep them up to date on the maids coming and going. The cleaner had holiday and there was more than one month’s notice, but they still demanded payment for the service charge and expected that I would notify them about HER holiday.

I made an enquiry and they promptly called back within the hour and left a message. After returning the call the person I spoke to, was not the same as the person who left the original message.After looking at our requirements, they then decided that they didn't have anybody available.Moral: Make sure your stories aline!

I started using them back in November and the cleaner hasn't been out to clean since. Was told that they wouldn't send the cleaner back out until I paid the monthly fee. I called to pay over the phone and they charged me for November through January, which I did not have a problem with as long as the cleaner would be sent out to clean. Joanne then told me I need to set up direct debit before they can clean my house EVEN THOUGH I HAD PAID FOR DECEMBER AND JANUARY. How are you going to charge me in advance and then tell me I can't have services I paid for already? In their welcome letter it even states that direct debit isn't required. They refused to refund my money. I actually called to set up direct debit and they still were giving me a hard time.Edit :I decided to give them 3 stars instead of 1. This whole thing could've been avoided if they would've just refunded my money or sent the cleaner back out to clean. If you have an issue with them and can't get it resolved with them through email or phone, I'd recommend leaving a review for a prompt resolution.

Called to book a cleaner for the first time with this company today and quite disappointed. Wanted a quote on services and after giving the girl our address and started we needed a one time service that may turn into monthly (base on if we liked the service), she told me they couldn't get us in for 6-8 weeks and hung up. No price quote or even among too see if that was an ok timeframe. Quite disappointed as I was looking for a full time cleaner. Guess I'll take my money elsewhere.

Dreadful service and refunds very hard to getDo not touch this company with a barge pole ... the cleaner they hired only turned up once out of 4 weeks. I rang the office each time and it was logged as a missed clean and I was told I would be refunded...I cancelled my contract as I needed someone reliable who wouldn't cancel with half an hour's notice and I am still trying to get the refund I am due from the monthly DD payments which are taken in advance.

We've been paying maid2clean around £42.25 per month for over a year, on top of what we pay our cleaners directly which is around £10/hour.I'm genuinely unsure what service is offered over and above the initial introduction to our regular cleaner. We have never been proactively refunded when our cleaner isn't available. They have never (literally not once) been able to provide a stand in cleaner when ours is away. We have direct line of communication with our cleaner who is excellent and really maid2clean offers nothing except an additional administrative burden on us, as well as a steep monthly bill. We have cancelled now, but I would not recommend them on account of adding no value whatsoever other than the introduction.

Had a cleaner for a while, but suddenly stopped turning up (no notice), the agency did nothing, despite charging a mark-up for several months. Useless and unreliable.In response to your reply, I can say the following - our cleaner is an essential service for us, one on which we need to rely upon as both adults in the house work long hours. Having someone quit with no notice, then no one to be available for 11 days, and then just a refund is no good. You have then informed us that you are unable to find anyone, so effectively terminated the relationship.The whole point of working with an agency is so that the service is reliable, and rather than working with an individual cleaner, we work with an organisation, which provides back up. When we got this cleaner a few months ago, we did not pay you a one time finders fee, but rather an ongoing charge every hour she worked. From our standpoint, you have provided a one time service, but charged as if it is an ongoing one.We have paid this ongoing fee for 7 or more months. Thus we have expected a replacement from an agency, rather than a small refund, and a termination. At the same time, presumably, you continued to arranged cleaners for other people, just not for us... I thus stand by my review. The cleaning was fine, but that was a job done by the cleaner herself. Your job - to maintain a reliable cleaning service has failed and was not reliable, despite you charging an ongoing fee. My review states exactly that - you have charged a mark-up for several months but did nothing when the service failed, as it was easier for you to give a small refund and then fob us off...

Using Maid2clean has been one of the best decisions we have made. Reliability and flexibility of our cleaner has been amazing. Most importantly we had rescue dogs and this was not an issue, despite the fact that we know they bark a lot. Our cleaner, Pauline often does over and above, and as we are very rarely there, she is left completely to her own devices. Thank you
