Went Kayaking mid morning on a beautiful calm sunny day (October) Although no amenities are open this time of year so it's advisable to go prepared. Beach was not very busy so plenty of space.

Great little beach. Nice beach and waves not too wild for kids.Good rock pool area for looking at sea life.I needed change for the car park, I had no signal on my phone at the car park to book parking on the app.

Porthpean is Lovely. We walk down through the woods to it ,but there is a car park at the bottom of the hill. The beach is small but secluded and has a coffee/tea stall in the summer. In the winter it's lovely to walk on and has some great rock pools.

I loved this beautiful cove so much, we didn't have any trouble parking, it wasn't overly busy, it was a little too steep for us to get to and we struggled back up the slope, we had 2 in our party with mobility issues but we were pleased we went. Would recommend, there was a small place to buy drinks and beach things but the coffee wasn't good.

Fantastic for swimming no shelves in sand to watch out for. Lovely little ice cream shop that also sells bucket and spades. Parking is at top of hill about a 5 minute slow walk down, obviously longer on way up again. Beautiful scenery

Great little beach. Toilets available, the shop was closed so can't comment on that. Quite steep road to walk from the car park to the beach.

Our nearest beach and love it. Very popular with parents of very young children through to elderly, I am 86yrs.Drink and food/icecreams available
