Good stock of fish but owner is very unhelpful. He said he was too busy to give me any advice when I tried to engage in conversation. No customer care at all.Went up there today and had a totally different experience. Owner extremely pleasant and helpful. He gave a lot me a lot of advice and was very helpful. I have now given a 5 star rating and I will remain a loyal customer. I now have 2 top quality discus fish.

Excellent experience overall. Top quality fish. Well packed. Two of 6,5 cm discus arrived well larger than the advertised size. One month later all fish are colouring up beautifully. Very satisfied!

I have now ordered a total of 11 discus fish on 2 occasions and am completely bowled over by the outstanding service, communication and quality of the fish. Both were telephone orders and the fish were delivered in tip top condition. Mark Evenden is a UK Discus expert and I couldn't think of a better place to purchase fish and fish-keeping equipment

I have now bought 22 fish in total and have now done 4 trips to devotedly discus and every trip has been fantastic. The quality of fish are brilliant and the owner is so knowledgeable and friendly. The website for the shop is great and I have had fish food and other items delivered and every delivery has been on time and in perfect condition. The website is also brilliant for information it has everything you could possibly want to know about discus. We have to travel 3 hours to get to the shop but it wouldn't matter if it was 10 because the quality and service is fantastic.Mark please never retire

Had a problem with a bag I put a angel in from my dad to transport to mine. Very nice of the gentleman to give me a new bag and help transfer it with no charge. Will definitely be popping in next time I'm in Eastbourne for a good look around.Again many thanks

After reading through these reviews. I would definitely use and highly recommend to others. Sounds like a very knowledgeable friendly service run by a small independent group of staff. With very high quality fish. Like to read reviews like this. 5 stars to try offset the minority of unfair negative reviews (which only looks bad on themselves as a reviewer) and the unexplained low ratings. Also like to see that owner checks and replies to comments on these reviews. To see if anymore they can do to help. Look forward to deal with Mark, Karen and rest of the team soon

Nice little shop, with a good variety of products. The owner seems quite knowledgeable with the fish and tank problems but is also quite dismissive, putting other things that he was doing first than dealing with the customers, which put me down a bit. Good variety of fish, they also seemed quite healthy. I might go back, but probably not my first choice.
