Golden Stones Gardening

Our boring new build garden has been completely transformed by Chris and his team in less than a week! Beautiful sandstone paving with a sett edging produced a professional finish. The attention to detail and pride in their work was clear. We also had some turf removed, and everything was left spotless when they left. We were so pleased with the results and can't wait to get planting! Thoroughly recommend.

Removal of existing garden wall, building new wall, removal of old paving, laying 2 new patios, upper and lower with turf in between, building steps and path, laying brick edging on lawn and path to borders, gravelling edges to back fence, removing side fence and loose concrete, recementing base and fence posts and refitting fence panels.Superb job. Chris and the team, Ant, Morgan and Matt, were communicative, friendly, and flexible throughout. Left the work area clean and tidy every day. Obviously they take pride in their work, and rightly so.

From first contact to completion Golden stones were professional and kept me informed at all times.We can’t thank the guys enough, they worked through torrential rain, starting early every morning until late afternoon, really impressed with their work ethic. All the lads were polite and friendly.They kept us involved in the whole process and continually asked for our opinion on things so everything was always how we wanted it.They take pride in their work, after laying the patio they were unhappy with the level of some slabs we didn’t even notice and took it all up and did it again showing high standards the whole way.Absolutely thrilled with the result of the garden now, looks even better than we pictured and we cannot wait to enjoy it this summer!

Chris and his team at Golden Stones have recently completed a garden redesign for us involving laying a new patio, lawn and also some fencing, and the results are first class! The works were quoted for promptly and started on the agreed date. The on site team, Anthony and George, were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were always on time and carried out the work to an exceptionally high standard with a keen eye for detail. They were such a pleasure to have around and always left the area clean and tidy so we could continue to live as normally as possible during the renovation.A massive thank you to both of you for all of your efforts. Words do not describe what Chris and his team have done because more than landscaping my garden, they have transformed my house and garden into a little haven which for the first time in my life feels like a proper little home. Chris is incredibly conscientious, creative and generous both in his knowledge and with his detail, he met all my needs and at times I know I was a tad demanding…. Honestly there is no better person to manage the job, along with a wonderful, hardworking and dedicated team. Every task completed to the highest quality and such friendly guys. They worked tirelessly on my project in the middle of winter 2021 never with a complaint.One of my priorities living in a fairly inaccessible village on a non through road was to keep the neighbours happy…. They did this with skill and finesse to the point where neighbours would stop me on my walks and comment on how accommodating they were.I would without hesitation have Chris and his team back at the drop of a hat. Chris and his team did a great job of reconfiguring our steps into the garden and brilliant job of creating our patio and outdoor kitchen. Johnny has been my gardener at a Lakes by Yoo property. I'm so impressed with what a difference he has made in so little time. He works very hard and was able to overhaul the landscape within a few days, making the process easy for me. His communication is great, especially as I'm not on site. He's proactive and provides thought out recommendations for areas I would otherwise be unsure on. I can really trust him and the team so get on with the job whilst having peace of mind the end result will be what I wanted.
