My favourite cafe in the area, but one that stands in strong contest against any cafe I regularly use (I work in St. James’ London), a proper cafe not a deli. The quality of the packaged products is second to none, the plated & takeaway food isn’t just great for the price but simply great, the chap behind the counter (owner?) is great; organised (rare in many places) & great to shoot the breeze with (interesting & funny), . If the locals are regulars it speaks for itself. AND check out the photos on the walls!

Asked if they had room for two people and was welcomed with a frosty reception. There was definitely space for two but we were told there wasn't. I would not recommend this place unless you didn't mind being race profiled.

Highly recommended. Good quality food at very reasonable prices. It is very popular with both locals and visitors to Swanage so beware you might not get a table, but is also very popular for takeaways. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Great little cafe in the heart of Swanage, all the food is freshly made to order (so expect a little wait at busy times) and the full breakfast is gorgeous, highly recommend a visit!!

Absolute gem of a cafe. We Couldn't resist popping in after seeing the pie and mash ad. Lovely staff and the grub was amazing just like my old pie & mash growing up in east London. Looking forward to visiting again. Thanks guys.

A cosy cafe with good food. We had sandwiches which were well presented and with plenty of filling. Eat-in time is limited as it's takeaway only after 2pm (or was the day we were there).

Amazing breakfast, great quality ingredients all cooked from fresh. We visited here twice for our breakfast during our stay in Swanage. The staff are all friendly & helpful, this was evident when an elderly gentleman came in who must have been a regular. His drink was ready for when he sat down, along with the morning paper. Such a lovely thing to witness. If we're ever visiting Swanage again, we will definitely be having our breakfast here.

We found the place smelling of old fat as if it hadn’t been changed in a long time . The chap was slovenly dressed, hair in a mess and would not have wanted him any where near my food. He was ignorant, uncouth and very rude. We didn’t even sit down we left . Ok for a greasy spoon for workmen. We didn’t dine , we were looking for somewhere to have lunch. So we didn’t spend anything. If l could give no stars l would .

One of my favourite places in Swanage, regularly eat in and take away! There's a great range of good quality produce but the standout offering for me are the items which they get from the Scottish butcher. I love the Scottish breakfast and I'm always delighted when I see the genuine lorne, proper black pudding and white pudding too - it's all just as good as the meals I've in the highlands. Having lorne, haggis and black pudding with onions in a roll for lunch is another favourite before grabbing a couple of Scotch pies to take home for dinner as well!
