Unfortunately, the cable cars weren't open upon our visit due to high winds. Recommended calling ahead of the cable cars are something that you want to do. But there are many options to travel up the great orme such as driving or tram.

Excellent way to get to the top of Great Orme with amazing views - we were lucky to have a sunny day towards the end of October!Be aware they (for some reason) only take cash, and there are no cash machines (ATMS) at either the bottom station or top.Not much change from £40 for a family ticket for 2 adults & 2 children.

A must in LlandudnoGreat experience definitely worth a visit. £12.50 one way £13 for a full circuit. The bottom stop is on the hill where the grand hotel is, keep walking up till you come to the steps, up the steps and you're there. Personally I got a bus from the pier and got on at the top of the great orme, there was no wait. The queues at the bottom were really big.

It was a wonderful experience, but system is managed a bit unorganised. They only take cash , huge queues and any warning or info signs are on the top of the cashier till where queues almost end up to sit in the cable car. Each and every warning sign should be at the very bottom of the queue where everyone start queuing so they can read all the info clearly.Luckily weather was in the our favour and we get to sit in cable cars yesterday and it was so much fun.

Really good fun! The views are terrific and lots to do at the Summit, lovely walks, picnics, mines, ancient churches to explore. Summit has a cafe and bar, although the bar was shut due to staff shortage.Only downside is the long queues but worth it in my opinion and it was a glorious day! I rode to the summit but on the advice of the cashier walked back down into the town. I didn’t want to queue again for another hour. Took me 30 mins but might take others longer. Just follow the main road to the halfway point and follow the tramlines back into Llandudno.Attraction is cash only.

For a family of 6 it's quite dear but one of those things you have to do whilst in llandudno... the staff were nice however they need to all be on the same page as going up we were able to do 1 adult and 2 kids in each car but on the way back we had to do 1 adult 2 kids in 1 car, 2 kids in another and then 1 adult which ruined the experience a little. That being said the views were spectacular.

The cable cars in Llandudno were absolutely fantastic. You get an incredible view high over the town including the pier and the dry ski resort. I was very fortunate to have incredible weather and spent the next few hours exploring the mountain. It's worth noting that the cable cars are cash only but at the summit there is a shop and café that accepts cards. A very worthwhile visit and if you fancy a different route back down again, you can get a very beautiful tram.

If you can get on this then you really should. Only 2 people per car and shut a lot of the time due to weather, it is the longest cable car ride in the UK at over 1 mile and has spectacular views (Weather permitting) you can struggle with queuing at the bottom but generally easier coming back down. It is just one of those things that should be done at least once.

Great place. Actual prices on the photo. When the weather is good, you can see an incredible landscape. Open until 5pm (last descent from the mountain at 5pm)
