Variable Resistance Personal Training
Highly recommend - seeing big differences!My goal was to build muscle through lifting heavy but I wanted to learn the correct techniques and push myself further than I had been able to when working out alone. Thanks to my sessions with Mike, my body shape has changed and I feel stronger and fitter than I have in years, achieving PBs I never thought possible. He is a brilliant, approachable Trainer who listens, supports and motivates you to believe in yourself. Being 40+, I have niggles and troubled areas, however Mike’s scientific approach and expert knowledge and guidance meant he could adapt exercises around this. Workouts are tough (as they should be) but also lots of fun and you leave each one feeling a real sense of achievement. Not only does Mike’s way of training work, but he changes your way of thinking about food and exercise, which stays with you in and out of the gym, to keep you on track.I would absolutely recommend Mike as a PT. Trust me, he knows what he is doing and will change your body and mind for the better.

Best PT out there! I had a difficult fitness test to pass and I was really doubting that I could ever pass it, as I only had 3 months to prepare. I was recommended to see Mike as I was told he is brilliant. I've had a few personal trainers who have been good, but never someone who is as thorough as Mike. He done a lot of research on my fitness test, so he could plan my training to exactly how I needed it. Mike also gave me nutritional advice that helped me massively. Very good at explaining correct techniques. When I had a minor injury, he was very quick to think of something else we could do that is still beneficial to me without causing further injury. Great motivator and very approachable!Thanks to Mike, I was able to do my fitness test with confidence and passed with 91%.100% recommend!

Having lifted weights on and off for years, I reached out to Mike in an attempt to improve my form, purpose and mind muscle connection.Mike was able to really get me thinking about each exercise, which greatly helped my mind muscle connection. I realised I’ve been training my biceps every time I’ve been attempting to train my back!Very friendly and knowledgable guy who can’t help enough.

It had been 2+ years and a pregnancy since I had last been in a gym. Mike instantly made me feel comfortable within the gym environment and confidently took me through all the techniques I needed to know. Mike listened to what I wanted to work on in the sessions and tailored my workouts to this. He pushed me to achieve more than I thought I could but was also quick to adapt exercises and techniques if I was struggling in any area. I have really enjoyed all of my PT sessions with Mike and can definitely see improvements. I Would 100% recommend Mike and Variable Resistance Training to anybody.

Variable Resistance Personal Training
After going to the gym on and off over the years with no plan and getting bored i decided to do a programme with Mike as a personal training. Instantly felt comfortable and enjoying so much more. He explains everything very well so you get a great understanding in why you are doing every exercise.
