Capernwray Diving Centre

I am not a diver or swimmer but my son was doing the open water part of his course and after contacting the centre and speaking I was assured that they would have some gear to fit him as the Scuba club were struggling to source gear due to his size and it was a long way to travel if it was going to be too cold for him. Anyway Carol and Harry were amazing and the right size under suit for warmth was hired. As other report the water is clear and even around the slipway where most divers enter the water it is clear. As a spectator the cafe served nice food and the general ambience was great. It even might prompt me to learn to dive now.

Beautiful, peaceful dive site where I was shore marshall for my husband Mike Stevens and his son Nick on 4 consecutive days. Excellent facilities, very helpful and friendly staff, and great cafe. We all loved it.

Awesome place to go diving or swimming.plenty fun things like boats planes and strange characters under the water to make it fun. Cafe ,shop and changing room with a shower. Plenty of parking. Looking forward to many more visits

Done my first ever open water dive here on Sunday arrived with the club early in the morning meet a lad called Harry who was full of jokes and laughing away to start the day off first dive done we went to the cafe for a spot of lunch and chat bumped in to harry again asked how we was getting on and meet the owner lovely lady who was giving us some tips there dog that is wondering around is really friendly and then to finish off the day we handed our dry suits in and we was asked how we went on for the day just went above and beyond highly recommended and will defo be back

Fantastic dive site. Been going for years. Friendly staff and love the doggos roaming around! Great food and lots of kit to hire if anything breaks or you forget anything. Tank fills are quick. Beautiful place and lots to see underwater, always something new. Everyone is friendly and helpful and always up for a chat. No complaints at all, will continue to go.The dive site itself is fantastic for training and skull practice. They really try to mimic all the entry options for practice and there are walls to drop down or ascent up or slopes. A training area that is around 6m and deeper areas for deep training. Nav is good as lots of natural things to follow or compass practice. Platforms provided at different depths for skills. Fantastic place.

The water is crystal clear and feels like silk on your skin. The staff are helpful and friendly. The cheesy chips are delicious and the cakes devine. I wish I lived nearer. My favourite swim spot in Lancashire ♥️
