It’s a nice gym with nice staff and the pool is nice however.. the changing rooms feel very dated and also the hot tub is broken, and when I was in there, I was told they are waiting for a specialist part but looking at the reviews. They have been waiting for over a year so it would probably best to remove that from your website. If it isn’t going to be fixed any time soon.

Well... Where do I begin. The ground floor area, which unfortunately isn't showcased in any of the pictures, left much to be desired. It's cramped, and most of the machines seem to be very, very flimsy. The plates often are dirty, leaving stains on your hands after handling them, and finding missing dumbbells upstairs is not uncommon. The uneven and broken floor adds to the discomfort, and the limited machine selection is noticeable. The cable machines lack attachments. There are two cable machines downstairs and two upstairs. Most attachments do not come in multiples (max 2 of a thing) and are left upstairs. Most of the handles also squeek when used. The gym also faces serious issues (especially) during winter, with walls and ceilings covered and dripping in condensation and mold, not to mention a distinct moldy smell. Leaks are not uncommon during rainy weather, and the lack of ventilation doesn't help. On quieter days or weekends, there's an absence of music, which can affect the ambiance.Regarding the pool, which initially drew me to this gym, I heard complaints in the changing rooms about consistently cold water and some equipment being broken. I ended up never having visited the pool area, but I did spot a lamp that seemed to have fallen from the ceiling and was carelessly placed near the pool. The upstairs gym is slightly better but still limited in terms of machine variety. While there's always music playing, some of the machines are permanently out of order or wobbly. The inconsistent numbering on the machine plates can be a minor inconvenience but adds to the frustrations. The ventilation there consists of a large fan that might zap you if you touch it, and a smaller one aimed at the cardio zones that doesn't really do much at all.Couldn't really figure out the lockers in the changing rooms, either. Neither in the male nor female ones. Been going for many months, and always just had to leave my stuff unlocked because the keys that they provided got stuck, a pound didn't fit in the pound slot on the inside of the door, and the permanent key-token that was provided didn't slide in or work either. Odd. We did spot many other keys left in unlocked doors, probably stuck as well, so I reckon we weren't the only ones with this problem.Lastly, another bitter experience was due to a certain individual who lingers around and stares at female gym-goers, even when the machine/weights that he's using are at the other end of the room or in a different room altogether. Beyond creepy and annoying.Despite the initial affordability, I found that there are other gyms offering much better quality and similar or lower prices. The limited opening hours, especially on Fridays and weekends, were disappointing. I understand that it might be challenging for the gym to stay open longer due to financial constraints, but overall, my experience here wasn't as positive as I had hoped.

The place is extremely dirty and untidy, dirty floor, rubbish In corners, random doors open with cleaning products and items etc, the pool is dirty you’ve got a deathwish going in there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Despite having old machines and rusty equipment, I actually used to enjoy going to this gym with my friend almost every day. The swimming pool, sauna, and boxing room are initially what attracted me when signing up, and they are pretty decent to use. I used to enjoy the freedom of the “local” uncommercialized gym effect of knowing most people, being friends with them. One thing that annoyed me in this gym is that the music they play is just from a radio so 50% of the time you will be working out to the loud sound of advertisements, which shouldn’t bother most people if you are headphone users. The thing is, I workout with my friend so using headphones is not ideal at 7 in the morning when you just woke up and want to communicate with your gym partner. For the first 3 months of having signed up to this gym I had no issues bringing my little speaker, asking the members around the gym if they didn’t mind me playing some of my music instead of the radio the gym offers, and every time they actually thank me for turning the radio off. I even came to agreement with one of the staff members that I could switch off the radio during my workout as long as I switched it back on when leaving the room, and that seemed to be fair, but recently one of the staff members who I think goes by bobby or bobbie or however his name is spelt was rude in telling me that I could not use the speaker. I tried to reason with him and tell him that its not ideal to be working out to ads, and surely they could afford a £10/month spotify subscription to play music considering the membership costs a minimum of £25, but he was disrespectful and acted in a childish manner, telling me “i didnt have my breakfast this morning” before rudely dismissing me with a gesture of his hand like I was a kid. I dont know if he was off the roid rage or something but thats completely unacceptable to interrupt me everytime I tried to speak to him calmly. I recommend this gym as Im an honest person and definitely enjoyed the facilities and staff members kindness, except for that one guy. All I am asking for is that you hear me out as i am an active member of this gym and want to be treated with respect, show some proper customer service and believe me you will have a lot more positive reviews as i see a lot of reviews complaining about the same thing.

Old style gym needs renovation,Dirty swimming pool with a cold water. Not cleanNo serviceNo Customer Service or Customer Care at all.Very old equipments in the gym.Walls are in very bad condition.Feedback is just opinion of the clients and your answers to the clients telling everyone much more about you and your performance.Customers are not enemies ,but people who are satisfied or not with your service.Wish you could change yourself for better in the future. It is not affecting my life anyhow because I have been in very beautiful places and I will be again like the other clients as well, who will choose better services and better places .Thank you for attention!

Just started recently at the gym but really nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and great access!Equipment isn't the newest but weights are weights, and the fact there's so many classes is brilliant.Overall best gym I've found around Southampton, would definitely recommend over going to a chain!

This has been my gym for around 2-3 months now and I am loving it! The staff are super lovely and kind. The only bother I have it sometimes some machines are not working but usually when I go back they are all fixed. A lovely gym for anyway who is wanting a quiet gym.
