We booked a table in advance, and I'm glad we did. Sunday dinner was bust with plenty of others out to enjoy a family meal with their 'fur babies'The staff are all very pet friendly and give as much attention to the 4 legged as to us humans. The food on both menus (human and doggy) is both a hearty size and very tasty, I recommend the cavery on a Sunday!Booking for a Sunday is highly recommended

The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Very good place for dogs and a pint, but my main let down was the food as nothing stood out that much taste wise. It's quit a broad menu. We came over twice as we were staying close by for a break. There's free parking on site, outdoor seating if you'd prefer and a pool table for a game or 2.

We happened upon this wonderful place on our journey back to our holiday home, we received a warm welcome from Amber and was promptly given menus and a lovely spot with clean table. There was more than enough choice with the menu's however, me and the wife both chose the pil pil prawns dish, we were so glad we did, it was out of this world, our son chose the loaded fries and was more than happy. We felt, Not only was the food and drinks outstanding and delicious, the staff, especially Amber, went above and beyond to make our experience here, such a good oneThanks to the team, especially Amber and the kitchen staff for such a wonderful lunch, we won't forget this one in a hurry

Nice little pub. I've been here a few times. Food has always been good, and staff are pleasant enough, but the atmosphere is a bit 'stuffy'. I don't feel you could let your hair down and have a proper knees up here. But if you want a nice meal in quiet surroundings then this place is perfect.

We went on a Sunday so it was carvery day, although we when for the burgers and was not disappointed, to much for us to eat really, plenty of pulled pork, bacon and a fab lean burger. A very nice meal also the carvery looked fab and I thought the meals were averagely priced. We both were suffering from our enjoyment the night before so had soft drinks, sadly these were very expensive although I don't usually have soft drinks but £4.80 for a pint of lemonade and lime was excessive. The staff were fantastic and very helpful and I think it's a great pub. I do think that if pubs continue to put up their prices even more people will stop going and there will not be many left for us to enjoy.

We were staying locally and Nathan at the St Day Holiday park recommended the pub. It did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the food was really good. A good choice and a specials board too.I had the sizzling platter and it was excellent.

Family meal for 6 . Amazing Sunday carvery and delicious puddings . The service was great , speedy despite being really busy and happy , smiling staff. Dog friendly and a great doggy menu as a Christmas treat . I’d recommend to book as it gets busy but doesn’t feel like you’re just a number . Big car park so easy to park , lovely big garden for the summer . Fantastic place .

We were 5 adults, 1 young child, 1 toddler and a baby. We were very comfortably seated and well looked after. Some of us had the carvery lunch which was delicious and I liked the fact that one could opt for small, medium or large portions . Two of the adults ordered the burgers which were delicious. The price of the meal which included drinks and 3 desserts was very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back again.
