Feather Down Readyfields Farm

We booked here as the location was just what we wanted, in the middle of nowhere, and with a hot tub! The owners are fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Word of warning, it is located on a working farm, so be prepared for flies and country smells and noise (i was brought up in the country so it didn't bother me). The owners have some gorgeous hounds which are kept in a field opposite during the day. There is another cottage next door, but there is enough privacy for the hot tub and you can't overhear conversations whilst in. The cottage was a very good size and was well done out. There was even a selection of cakes waiting for us when we arrived. Local shops are a 5 minute drive away if you need anything like milk, bread etc. We will be staying here again. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

Lovely cottage with hot tub. Owners very helpful and welcoming. Farm tour led by farmer Charles Boddy was the highlight for me. Will go back when we get a chance.

We have recently returned from a week at the farm and loved every minute. All the family were welcoming and keen to show us the sights. The accommodation was great, in a quiet location within access to lots of family activities. We will be returning. Thank you

Lovely stay in a cabin with hot tub

Beautiful place, lovely people plus wonderful children they have .my family and I went in August last year to stay a few days before my brother's wedding .lessie the owner was so pleasant she checked our hot tub every morning.there's lots to do in near by towns shopping is easy to get all your bit and Bob's .myself and family are going back July for my birthday2020 we can't wait .thank you for for a fantastic stay x

Made a booking 48 hours ago, but unfortunately due to an appointment for my 2 year old son that has been brought forward and will need to be kept home for two weeks following his operation we will not be able to attend this booking, I've been told today that the deposit is none refundable and there is nothing they can do, I appreciate there a policy's in place, however with the shorty turn around I would have expected some level of compassion from a so-called family business. This is absolutely ridiculous in relation to great customer service and will not be recommending anyone use this company for a family holiday as the only care is for your money.

Lovely location! Beautifully clean and high spec kitchen & bathrooms, can't fault this place at all. Lovely views and hot tub, friendly owners. Highly recommend and will definitely return
