John Wheatley Gas Plumbing & Heating Ltd

Had Jack from Wheatley plumbing and heating service our gas fire and have to say what a thorough and pleasant man to deal with, plus everything cleaned up afterwards. Having used Wheatley for years we would highly recommend.

I'm not going to beat about the bush so I'll get straight to it.Five star service from J. Wheatley Gas, Plumbing and heating services. They fitted a new bathroom for us and the final product was spectacular.Exceptional customer service provided by Hannah, exceptional quality of materials, exceptional finished product, exceptional service provided by John who came to quote us for the work, exceptional work carried our by Adam our bathroom fitter.J.Wheatley Gas, Plumbing and Heating Services are a phenomenal company..professional, reliable, friendly, trustworthy, respectful and extremely hard working. They provided fabulous value for money, especially in the current climate, and i have already made an appointment for an engineer to come again in the new year to estimate for 2 more jobs in our home. It can be a scary thing to have a company come into your home who you know nothing about but you don't need to worry about this one...I've told you all you need to know.

Not always the cheapest but always great service, as quickly as they can, really responsive, creative problem solving, willing to go the extra mile and excellent plumbers. Used for a few years and never have any issues. From the plumbers to the admin team - brilliant!

We needed a new boiler, radiators and bathroom. We had tried a few forms, but most were too small for such a big job. I called in at their showroom and one of their displays was exactly what I was looking for. They were friendly and helpful, gave a very professional quote and whilst it was higher than others had suggested I realised that they had the capacity to do the job.I booked them in, they gave me a definite date, they turned up on time and worked steadily, with two teams, until the work was completed.At all times they were helpful and willing to make sure that they were doing what we wanted.Highly recommended.

Had new taps installed in bathroom and kitchen, Jack was the plumber and he did an excellent job, very professional and took pride in his work. Cleaned up after the work, I was very pleased with the finished job.

One star for the friendliness and politeness of the gas fire fitter and one for Mr Wheatley bothering to telephone me back after I complained. Unfortunately no stars for the excessive time taken to fit a simple, small, flame-effect gas fire. He recorded a time of 4 hours 45 minutes for a very similar job that took 2 hours 30 minutes (by Mr Wheatley) in another house I have. Also another very similar fire I had fitted in another room by a different gas fitter took 2 hours. The time recorded included 45 minutes to collect a part he should have brought with him, 5 significant telephone calls he received whilst fitting the fire, and 15 minutes added on after leaving the premises. At £1.40 per minute, a very expensive fitting which Mr Wheatley's office did reduce slightly on complaint. My advice...always get a quotation before starting the job, I was silly and paid the price.

Attended as agreed. Even arrived a little bit early unlike others who aren't quite so prompt.Dealt with annual check swiftly and efficiently and advised as required.Polite and friendly and we will be happy to engage this company again.

We have used this company on 4 occasions the service and products are always good however recently we had our boiler serviced yesterday Jan 22. We also had the boiler serviced Jan 21. They installed the boiler 3 years ago. So my review is about how a business is capitalising on the current situation. We had no replacement parts, the engineer was polite and friendly so no complaints about him. My comment is purely the price which was £65 +Vat November 2020 v £95 +Vat Jan 2021 that’s a staggering increase of £30 just under 50%. I did query it but their response was“Unfortunately these are our new prices for 2022.”Well lesson learned I’ll be looking elsewhere in future.In addition and in response to their reply, I did email my mobile and made it clear I was more than happy to receive a call from you to discuss but you chose to email a response which I have added above. I am still happy to call.

Cannot praise them enough,very polite and helpful phone call and a visit day after.A very polite helpful young man Jack (his mother would be proud of him) a real ambassador for the company.He fixed the wash basin and toilet system and I was so impressed , was expecting them giving me a date certainly didn't expect it doing immediately. One very satisfied customer and I would definitely ask for Jack for future plumbing problems.WELL DONE JACK AND J WHEATLY FOR SUPERB SERVICE.

We are delighted to have found John Wheatley. On this occasion they attended for a boiler service and landlord’s certificate and Jack arrived on time, did a very thorough job and delivered first class service.
