I called them for an enquiry about peugeot tepee. I was told car is in original white colour and sprayed because of small scratched and not involved in any kind of accident.I decided to view car on Saturday and asked them if they are open?i was told we are open from 9-12. As i live in Kent, i travelled 275 miles all the way long, left home at 5 .30am and arrived at 10.30am. There was one man who was washing their cars. I asked him if i can see someone in office, he said, there is no one in office and i am only person available.I was quite surprised and asked where is office staff to whom i need to deal. He said, its me only.I said, Okay!!!!!Well I start checking car,1.rear right door was making strange sound when closing/ opening and it was stucking in the middle. it was definitely repaired.2.Car steering was faded and lost its colour, although it was only driven 48000 miles.Just 48000 miles and faded, really?My current vehicle is gone 100k miles and still steering looks good.a big question on mileage?3.Brake pedal rubber was almost finished from one side which is a big question on mileage again. Really 48000 miles?Brake pedal rubbers are very long lasting, they are only ripped if car has gone long long miles. It cannot happen on 48000 miles.3.when i opened the bonet, there was new surprise waiting for me, guess what? Car was originally silver and repainted into white colour.( lady lied to me despite i specially asked about color and accident).4.front bonet, bumber, was repainted, radiator was changed, new plastic body above the radiator, new brake oil bottle was giving a clear feeling that vehicle was damaged from front and it was made again.5. Passenger left door was not allinged with the pillar ,While closing making strange sound.I decided to leave that car and asked if you have any other vehicle available?I was taken to another vehicle, but more or less it was the same.When i start looking into someother cars from windows inside, many of them were found with fungus on seats, again alarming and surprising.”Atlast i found another vehicle and asked that person to start, he brought the keys and started the vehicle. That vehicle was looking better and i was making my mind.In meanwhile that car washer ( guy) came to me and said this vehicle is sold. I asked him, if this vehicle is sold then why you brought keys. He said i just came to know now.I said, “”Wow!!!!!!””. Whatelse i could say, surprises after surprises.Well during all this time that guy has no interest in answering my question, what ever i was asking he was just saying“ I DONT KNOW,This is the way how it is.”Plus, he was just staying away, keeping one hand in pocket( due to cold) and using his phone with otherhand ( i could see level of professionalism).Checking time again and again, perhaps he just wanted to run home at 12pm.When i was leaving, i ask the guy, if i want to buy one of your vehicle how would you sell it to me because there is no staff available in office.He said, “ give me money and take car, we will post you documents on Monday”.I said, what if i want to go for finance, what about paper work, he was quite and had no answer.I have not seen anybody dealing this pathetic way.how someone can leave money to a car washer and take vehicle away when offiice is closed.“Why you asked me to come on saturday when your office was closed.”?“” i found it very poor services and poor behaviour.These people are time waisters and selling rubbish. Please DO NOT waist your time at this place at all”Good luck!!

bought a wav from Pickering's last week, from finance to the delivery of the vehicle was trouble free, unfortunately the van wasn't suitable, after a day, and contacted Pickering's and they asked me to bring it back for a larger roofed vehicle, they took the time out to make sure i had the right van at the right price, a Volkswagan T30, they PDI'd the new van did the phone calling to make sure all the paperwork was in order, went above and beyond and I left in the new van for my 100 mile drive home, van is excellent the service also equaled this.They will have my custom from now on and the staff were polite and very helpful, I can now take my wife out in her wheelchair, which was impossible before this.customer service 100%vehicle 100%straight clear advice 100%finance company also made the process easierHighly Recommended 100%

DONT BUY OFF PICKERINGHad a car just 5 weeks done about 800 miles and the clutch has gone Pickering don’t want to know.Andy didn’t offer to replace the clutch for coastHe said what ever his Mechanic charges and I would have to bring back plus car wasn’t been used as a taxi .Then to top it off a week or two later injectors go. A bad purchase all together

I can’t believe the great value of these vehicles, if you want to save money this is the place to go. The also delivered to my door hassle free for only £99. Vehicle arrived clean, perfect working order and a full demonstration was given. Try the rest then go to the best !! Highly recommend

I recently purchased a Volvo XC70 from this company and I thought I'd just write to say how pleased I am with the purchase and the great service I received. Although this was not an expensive purchase the car was beautifully presented and better than described!! Pickering's also managed to organise delivery which saved a lot of hassle. Absolutely superb company and service. Having been let down previously by one of the much larger WAV companies I am really happy to have found Pickering. Helped us out when in a pickle, went out of their way for a next day delivery to help my daughter. Wonderful vehicle for my budget. Outstanding company, we needed our first WAV and after 2 months of searching and contacting over 6 WAV specialist we just couldn't get a wav dealer to give us a fair price for our vehicle with quotes often coming up short of standard trade price by 1-3 thousand pound. Not this place we received trade price for our vehicle and was able to buy a Peugeot rifter at a great price, the sale it self went smooth staff are very knowledgeable and there was no pressure to buy whatsoever highly recommend, we will definitely be back many thanks

The staff have been very helpful, and the delivery man couldn't have been more helpful.Can't recommend them highly enough.3 DAYS LATER!!!!!Update, 3 days in and the vehicle is immobilised due to a completely flat battery, and I have had no resolution from the dealer, other than an implication that I had caused the issue by leaving lights on, which I can guarantee did not happen.The tailgate emergency release is inaccessible due to the wheelchair ramp, so if there had been a power wheelchair in the vehicle, it would be stuck there!!!!!So, unfortunately, until this is resolved, I will have to remove my good review, as it was done in good faith, as I was pleased with the vehicle, but it is not a very pretty ornament.
