Dewsbury Road Post Office

Excellent local post office for Lupset and Dewsbury road area.Sells a wide range of other stuff, including drinks, snacks, envelopes and a wide selection of stationary. There are a small selection of things like jigsaws and basic children's games (colouring, etc...)Postmaster is helpful and efficient, service is fast

I always gave the staff at this post office the benefit of the doubt because it seemed busy, being on a main road etc. However, over the years it’s become clear that they’re just rude and lazy and only want to deal with simple matters and get annoyed if you have more than two things to post. Would suggest Townley Road or Kirkgate as other options for a much better service.

Postmaster was rude and refused to insure my item. I would strongly recommend you find another post office.

Very rude and unhelpful man serving. Called in to post a prepaid parcel. The postmaster tried to quickly scan the barcode but it didn't scan. He said its faulty print (it looked OK to me) . I suggested he could maybe type the number in manually to which he point blank refused said he can't do that and said I should go away and print the label again and that nothing could be done.On way home called in another post office who scanned the barcode no problem. I explained what had happened and this post office, They confirmed there was nothing wrong with the print on the barcode but even if they was he could have typed it in manually as I'd suggested.

An absolute waste of a post office. Unfortunately the clerk is useless, had no idea of his job. I had some large letter stamps so that he could minus the cost of it to go into international post. He said it can't be done. Decided to argue with me rudely as he couldn't tell me why, I've only been doing this for 6 years with no prior issues!! Lazy post office man who is clueless about his role. Should not be a post office then. What a waat of time and energy

Its summer, should be opened until 6pm-8pm.

Excellent service by friendly and helpful member of staff. Hope all offer the same high standard of service.

Alway service with a smile, staff are excellent, very efficient too.

Use three times a week and always a massive help.

Very Poor Customer Service, The Guy that work there always trying to making pay the most expensive service , always charging the most expensive without giving you the other options...
